These run VERY small
The shoes are well made and once you figure out the size you need, they are quite comfortable. They were for my son, who normally wears a 10. I first ordered a 10 1/2 and they were too small. He asked for an 11 1/2 and they fit great!

The shoes were excellent quality, but tight..
I really would like to wear these shoes more often. I need a shoe horn to get them on my feet. I am keeping them, but probably I should have a half size larger. It is one challenge of ordering shoes on the internet...

Too Small Or perfect Fit?
Do these shoes run small, as many reviewers say, or are they fit perfect to size? The actual answer is, "that depends." The variable is in what you wear with them. Let's assume that you're foot measures 10.5 like me. If you are planning to wear thin socks or no socks, 10.5 is your size. However, if you plan to wear thick socks with them, size up a half size or size (11 or 11.5).All this seems to be because it looks like the manufacturer was trying to build a shoe that stayed on your foot despite its minimumal heel capture. So, if you're wearing a thick sock with your standard foot sized shoe, the shoe will likely feel really tight and you're going to trash the heel entery as some have done. So, sizing these shoes is all about your base layer. Me, I'm in Florida, so I wear 'em barefoot like a closed-toe flip-flop. Hope that helps!

A nice pair of leather slip-ons but already worn out heals
It's not quite 14 months since purchasing these and the inside heal bumpers are already worn out. I hate having to pay a shoe repair tech to replace bumpers with a more durable material as I paid enough for these already. Other than the inner heals, they look like new.

Nice Quality, Poor Fit
Read some reviews that said these run small, so I ordered a half size larger. The problem is not really the overall size, it's that the part of the shoe running across the top of your foot is low and has no give. If you have medium to high arches, you won't be able to get your foot all the way into the shoe. (I even tried shoe stretcher spray that I bought on Amazon. No dice.) Since I get get my foot all the way in, my heel pushes out the back, sitting over or too tightly against the back lip, and it wore that part of the shoe out quickly. Already worn through in a couple of months. It's a shame because it's otherwise a well constructed, nice looking shoe. If you have flat feet, it's probably a good shoe.

it's a mule/slide shoe
First off, I usually wear a 10 medium, I ordered an 11 based on previous reviews of it running small. The instep where you slide your foot into IS kinda tight, but I assumed that there would be some stretch, and there was. It is a mostly flat insole, not much of an arch support. So if you have a high arch it might not work for you. I broke these shoes in by starting out in bare feat in the shoe. After walking around the in the house for about a week off and on I can feel it had stretched a bit. I then went to thin socks. As the shoe stretches it also formed to my foot well. This is a slide in, slide off shoe that I usually wear around the house. They work for me.
