Decent Para Boots

Plain vanilla leather paratrooper boots. Comfy, lots of space but not like an extra size up or anything and I have skinny feet. No steel toecap which I don't need anyway and no steel shank. Just a pair of tough leather boots. Perfect for stomping around in the woods or accenting yer kilt.

Comfort and security

Very comfortable to wear, and the leather craftsmanship fits quite nicely giving you a sense of comfort and security. Not heavy nor too light on the foot, but just enough weight to give you a firm and steady balance.

Decent good looking boot

The first thing you should know about these boots are they run large! I am normally a size 13 and personally I had to go down to a size 11 for a proper fit. The quality of the boot is pretty decent, and they take a shine easily. They have a good weight to them, but they're not too heavy. They are not especially comfortable but I have been able to wear them working full time without any foot problems for over a year.

Bring back smaller sizes!

These were one of my favorite boots because of the style although the leather would break down (on the tongue and around crease.) I always reordered these but now they don’t have sizes 3 or 4 in men :( please bring them back!

Great bang for the buck!

I know from experience you have to order these one size smaller. I’ve been wearing a version of these classics for years. I get a lot of mileage and use out of this uninsulated, black leather boot for daily wear in the spring and fall. I wear them with a black sports jacket and scarf with jeans for a rock and roll-casual yet, thought out ensemble or just the t-shirt and jeans thing. They last for years and when they wear out and the leather shows through the black, they get that naturally distressed look. Of course they’re great for just mucking about in the woods. For under a hundred bucks, you can’t to better.

Nice Boots

I read the reviews before buying and went with a 1/2 size smaller than I normally buy at retail stores. I wish that I went a full size smaller. The boots are said to be made to MIL SPEC, when I was in the Navy I wore an 8 1/2, that was 20+ years ago but at retail stores, I now need a 10 and sometimes 10 1/2. In these boots a 9 would have been my best choice (I purchased a 9 1/2). They were a bit lose, so I put in some inserts and now they are fine. I think that shoe sizes have gone in the opposite direction of ladies dress sizes. I would buy these boots again.

This was a waste of money

This was a waste of money! Very poorly made. I wore them the first weekend I received them and the cut into my ankles and caused them to bleed. The tongue flap is cut wrong and doesn't fit properly as it should...it looks wrinkled no matter how you try to correct it. I ended up giving my boots to charity. DON'T ORDER THESE!!
