EXCELLENT! EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS!
I bought these for my husband because he works at Pacific Seafood packing company and he is in and out of and out of the freezer constantly. He works in a cold and a wet environment. He has told me and it's so funny everyday he comes home from work he comes home and sings the boots Praises as if he's just put them on for the first time :-). He's always telling me how awesome the boots are and how they keep him really warm at work. When I was researching to choose a pair of boots for him I was looking for a boot that had a steel toe because it is a safety requirement something rubber because of all of the water that they deal with and I wanted the neoprene to be very thick to keep his feet and legs warm. As far as the soles of the boot were concerned I was looking for something extra thick because I hate to say it but he drags his feet when he walks and so what ends up happening is is the Integrity of the inside of the boot is compromised and water gets in through the heel. I wanted the sole of the boot to be extra thick and I also wanted it to be pliable enough so what that when he's constantly crouching down and it bends it doesn't fracture or crack straight across in the shank between the heel and the ball of the foot that happened with the last pair of boots that he had.Overall for the value of the money I have to say these exceed expectations in every category for the value for the durability for the comfortability for them keeping warm and for the safety features.His work offers the man of stipend for a place called Red Wings to go get boots and even after the stipend if you want to get their basic boots you'll pay about $30 if you want to get something that's going to actually last you you're going to still end up spending about $200. Which we have done before with Red Wings and these boots exceed those. I mean if you're working in rescue or cold temperatures anything like that you will be more than happy with these boots.Now for as far as fit they fit exactly as advertised if you need to use the sizing chart go ahead. These do not offer half sizes and so where is he wears a 10 and a half I just rounded up to 11 and of course with a nice thick pair of socks on to stay even warmer it works out great. By the way if you didn't know there are electric socks available and gloves and vests Etc to check out on Amazon at his work we have bought him a bunch we got him a bunch of those items for Christmas and he loves all of them their battery operated. And now for ease of use they slide on very easily I like that at the very back at the top there is a little wench type strap deal not sure what you would call it but it allows you to close the top of the boot even tighter if you need to let's say if you're working with water or something or if you just want to be even warmer.
