I love Ryka shoes. The best shoe I have found that supports my back
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have been wearing Ryka for years & love many different styles. These are true to size. I love the color & the look.
Pretty color, very bright shade of yellow. Fit well in length but a little tight in width. Comfort is average . In my opinion full price is very overpriced for this shoe but I got on sale so satisfied. Note: for some reason they are quite noisy when walking which can be a bit awkward. My many other Ryka shoes never had this issue.
Bought these for my wife. Very light weight. She loves them.
It took me a minute to except the shockingly bright color emanating from my feet. But once I remembered that they would match a new skirt and tee shirt perfectly, I knew I chose well.FYI: I also own another Pair from Ryka. Which is a women owned company...And to add, this company makes the most comfy, yet sturdy walking shoes that I have ever worn.. and lucky for me, their shoe sizes come in half sizes, and wide widths.Although now it looks and feels like I'm walking on sunshine. I do love both pairs equally.Love both pairs equally.
I made some lifestyle changes that included 3-4 miles of daily walking. The shoes I had caused many painful blisters on my toes and no matter what I did, they would not go away or stop. I went looking for shoes and read reviews to make sure I bought a good pair. The good news is that the blisters went away/stopped soon after wearing the shoes. I have wide feet, with arthritis and not much of an arch so I did order the wide, which I am glad I did. The size was perfect. They are quite comfortable, light, and I like the fabric, which gives my feet room so they don't feel closed in. No matter how long I wore the shoes, my feet were in good shape. Usually by the end of the day I can barely walk because of the pain. I noticed the pain was not as bad after wearing the Ryka shoes. Now for the things I did not like. First, the round shoelaces are terrible. I had to stop to tie my shoes several times every time I walked, no matter how i tied them. When you are tracking time/pace this is an annoyance. So yes, I did have to buy different shoelaces. Is that a big deal? Not really. Is that a big deal when you spend $130 on shoes? Yes. At that price I should not have to go and buy new laces. The worst thing about these shoes is their durability. One month in and holes started to develop on the rear inside heels. ONE MONTH. Two months have now gone by and the holes are worn completely through the fabric and now my heels rub on the plastic beneath the cushioning. I have never had shoes go bad this quickly. The rest of the shoe is fine, the sole is showing the amount of wear I would expect while the rest of the fabric is holding up well.So here is my dilemma. Do I go back to the old brand shoes and risk the pain of blisters like before? Do I spend $130 every two months? I certainly cannot afford to do that. I ultimately decided to try a less expensive Ryka shoe, but if it does not hold up, I will move on to something else.Do I recommend this shoe to anyone? Honestly, I am torn. If you want a light, comfortable, breathable shoe, then I recommend these as long as you don't mind buying a new pair every few months. If you want to buy a comfortable shoe that has any sort of durability, keep looking.
Beautiful, comfortable, lightweight shoe !
