Well worth putting these on!

I agree these are a bit hard to get on, but I have a long shoe horn and it works well. Once on, these boots are exceedingly comfortable and there is plenty of room in the toe box. Also the elastic straps hold your foot in place without allowing it to slide which keeps your toes from jamming forward and your socks stay put so your toes don't get jammed from that either. Another plus is no memory foam insole which helps me with stability; yet the shoes are quite comfortable with the insole provided. These will be great for walking. So pleased I have ordered another pair from a different source.

VERY hard to get on !

I had to buy a boot horn just to get them on due to the fact that they have attached the tongue of the boot to the sides of the bottom with a strong, tight elastic strip more than an inch wide -- which serves no useful purpose that I can see! Once they are on, they are comfortable and work well but I had to return them because they did not loosen up.

Comfortable

Excellent for light hiking. Very comfortable once I get feet in the shoes (the stretchy laces are locked but most people would probably have no problem pulling on the boots). Stay on well. A relative liked the look of them so much, she is getting a pair.

Okay but tight to get on

Fits well but I needed to replace the elastic tie with a regular shoe lace in order to get my high arched foot in easily. That meant unstitching it at one loop, but a seam ripper and being careful too care of that. I like the now that I have adapted them into tie boots.

Difficult to get them on.

The foot box is in fact wide. However, they are very difficult to get on due to the short elastic bands inside. They don’t stretch enough. They could also have a pull loop.

Not water proof

These boots are comfortable and made for walking in but are not weather proof for rain!
