Perfect shoes for those with sciatica, arthritis, back pain
These shoes are very comfortable, lightweight, and cute. They fit great, and have great slip resistance. I got these for an upcoming vacation as "walking shoes" that I could wear with pants, dresses or shorts, but I love them so much, I am wearing them to work every day. They have helped alleviate my sciatic pain, lower back pain, and knee pain. I was really surprised that a pair of shoes could do all of that! I told my mom about them, and I plan to buy another pair. They are really great shoes.

Super comfortable and supportive walking shoe!
These shoes are incredibly comfortable. I normally go to a running store and get fitted for my walking shoes. I need shoes that are extremely well padded to cushion my bad knees. But to add to my problems, I sustained a knee injury in the spring and found I had to wear good walking shoes all the time for a while. I hate wearing shoes and socks in the summer as I find them so hot so I took a chance on these shoes and boy am I glad I did! I wear them over my bare feet and that along with the fabric and Mary Jane design make them substantially cooler than my usual tie shoes. The heavy padded insole and arch support were a very pleasant surprise! These are every bit as padded and supportive as my $200 shoes. The fit is true to size which a roomy toe box--I knew that about Ryka from wearing their cross training shoes. These walking shoes are wonderful and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a well padded shoe with a good arch support. My only regret is getting the light grey because they got dirty rather quickly.Edit: I recently developed plantar fasciitis in one foot. These are the only shoes I can wear right now. The heel and arch in this shoes is perfect for planter fasciitis pain.

I followed the advice from reviews/went with the Ryka size chart and ordered an 8, even though I am a 7 1/2 99% of the time. Well, surprise surprise: they’re too big— extra length in both the toes and the heel and even with the strap tightened all the way they were still sliding down in the heel with each step. Did not get wide width but had plenty of room in the toe box as well. Was recently professionally sized with a Brannock device at a SAS store and was told I was a 7.5W(ide), which (according to their size chart) means my feet are 9.5in or 24.1cm, and EU 38. They don’t have a width size chart with measurements but I found a ‘standard’ US women’s width chart that says a size 7.5 with a 3.8-3.9inch-wide foot is considered wide. Whenever I try to trace to trace and measure my footprint I get 24.4cm for the left and 23.9 cm for the right, so I must be doing it wrong.. who knows. All I DO know is that I’m always a size 7.5 (additional measurements, for reference: 7.5 in Converse Chuck Taylors; ball girth ~9.5in). Other than the size issue, they did feel quite comfortable and cushy, in the few minutes I was walking around in the house. I may get a smaller size but I’m still deciding.

Comfortable right out of the box
These are so comfortable right out of the box - casual but dressy enough style that it works with a variety of clothes. I'm on my feet all day and these work great. It's a bonus that it's a brand developed by women for women.

Failure in size and quality
Ryka has always had a good quality line of sneakers especially made for women. Except for these Maryjane style sneakers. The style is great honestly for all occasions unless you’re going to a formal event. The quality failed not in the support but in the way it was constructed. The strap was too short for a wide foot or accommodate any foot problems because it wasn’t truly a wide sneaker. You can see the glue in the majority of the shoe even in the areas where you expect to see stitching. It did offer the floating comfortable feeling once I tried it on but was afraid it would come apart if I walked in them. So back they went but I would buy them again if the problems I listed here were fixed. Who knows maybe I received a bad pair.

These are nice
These are nice. I wasn’t expecting to like them but I really do. I have a bad low back and they have plenty of cushion with support. Plenty of room in the toe box. I bought my normal size.
