Great look and fit but oh, the squeaking!

I really liked these shoes for the first 6 weeks. That’s as long as I got before the squeaking began. Both shoes, within a week of each other, started to squeak incredibly loudly when I walk on them. They’re still comfortable, and as long as no one‘s around, and I don’t mind the incredible loudness of the shoes, I can wear them just fine. But they are really, really loud. It’s really unsettling, that a pair of shoes from a manufacturer this good should become so loud so quickly. I’ve never had this happen before, and it makes me question the quality of this brand. This is the first time I’ve bought shoes from them, so it’ll definitely make me think twice about buying another pair from this brand. Really unfortunate.

These are very narrow!

I don't normally wear sneakers, or any kind of athletic shoes, but love the style of these. They are very lightweight, and comfortable. Probably not worth the price, considering the materials and workmanship. I ordered a half size up, and I'm glad I did. Get the wide width! These are almost too narrow for me, and I have narrow feet! This makes them difficult to get on and off. I am hoping these will break in nicely so I can wear them casually in the summertime. Love that they don't have high arch. If you step on a pebble with these, you will definitely know it. I hope this helps!Update: I have been wearing these for a couple of weeks now, and they are very comfortable. Thinking of buying a second pair.

Sizing

The style is great, complements. Size is not. lst order was for a size 10 medium, too snug but length ok. So I returned lst order and reordered a size 9.5 Wide. Length was good, but the wider width slightly helped. I have high arches and the way the top of shoe is constructed width did not matter. The top part of shoe comes up to high on the foot. I ended up with blister, which never happens with these type of shoes. Really like the style, but that is it.

Comfort from the moment you slip in your foot!!!

I just will not purchase any other. I have 4 pairs of Ryka in closet my closet. The arch and heel are just right. I have a very active dog, who loves to walk in park and great-grandchildren (3-5) who are with me often. My granddaughter works a 12 hour shift at a local hospital. I am 76 years old and as long as I have my Ryka shoes my feet are happy.

Bought these sneakers for walking on cobblestones in Europe. I usually buy Ryka sneakers and bought a 6.5 instead of 7. They fit and good great. My feet were very grateful!
