Comfortable, give stability in or out of water. I purchased for water aerobics but felt comfortable wearing them out and about. They are lightweight and flexible and the water drains out well so that they dry quickly.
Love these shoes for water aerobics. They’re sturdy and offer good support while exercising. They also hold up well over time.
Best shoe ever. Love the way this can be a water shoe or a walking shoe. Fits very well. Higher price point than other water shoes, but well worth it for the quality. Did not know the Ryka brand but now will order many colors and styles. The shoe strings do not slide and hold a knot well. The way you can remove the shoe liner is wonderful as it is easy to wash… or fast to dry. No blisters, not scraping, and have worn for almost a year and look how well they have hel up (second pic)
I had a disastrous experience on a trip to theme parks in Florida, where I wore what should have been comfy shoes - my favorite, well worn slip on sneakers and a pair of comfy ke3ns. I learned that a) my feet swell in heat, and b) any slight rub in a shoe becomes awful if shoes are wet. I got blisters on day 1 and went through multiple boxes of bandaids while struggling to get through that trip. Ended up buying too-big slides to wear with socks and athletic tape. Not fun.So for Hawaii, I wanted something comfortable, quick drying, and adjustable. These are perfect. They run a little wide, and they’re very comfy. I wore them before the trip to break them in, but honestly they were perfect right out of the box. They’re also cute. Wore with and without socks.
So much better than flat water shoes. Very comfortable and lightweight. Don't impede movement.2 Quibbles: laces too long, step on them and tongue not wide enough.Durability? Already scuffed up toe but soles holding up after 3 months of lots of use for pool aerobics.
Comfy, able to walk in for long periods. Due to the vents on the bottom sand does get on your feet.
Run don’t walk to buy these shoes!I originally bought some cheaper pair of shoes off Amazon got them home didn’t like them because they just rubbed in all the wrong spots. I’ve purchased this brand of shoe before in a different style, but I’ve never purchased water shoes like this. I wore these for a week in Costa Rica in town, in the cloud forest, walking in mud, walking in rain, walking on slick concrete and these shoes are absolutely the best! I had zero slipping, they did not rub, they had amazing traction and very good support. These are not water shoes that you think of not having support. They are actually like a running shoe.
