Finally, it fit right out of the box
I had ordered 2 other shoes of different well known brands, and neither one was comfortable, and neither one was well made, and were returned. I have had many other Ryka shoes over the years, and decided to try this Sky Walk Trail Sneaker, as it got great reviews. SUCCESS! They were comfortable right out of the box, with no break in period, great insoles giving great support, no slippage on my heel, nice toe box with plenty of room, and now I have a big smile on my face. Well made, even though they say Made in China. Very much an improvement over the Vietnamese versions that I tried of their competitors. I'm not a hiker, just looking for a good walking shoe, and these are great!

UPDATE: Two left feet, 2 different sizes?
Update:The second pair I received were exactly as anticipated. They are really cute and comfortable! Not sure what happened with the first order, but think someone must have switched them out for whatever reason.Original: Unfortunately got 2 left shoes in a 6 and 7... the box was also an Amazon show box that had "recycled package because the original package was damaged during transit" printed on it. I also saw a lot of shoe glue on the tread, and the foot bed of the smaller shoe was not as taut as seen in the picture which makes me wonder if these shoes are re-makes...I'm a little bit suspicious but I'm going to return these and re-order because the one left shoe I got in my size is comfortable and the shoe is beautiful. Hopefully they will be a right and a left shoe in my size this time.I'll let you know how it goes by updating my review.

Ryka shoes live up to their name
I've had many different styles of Rykas over the years, from when they first came out in the 90s, and I've loved every pair. These were my first trail hiking shoes and I'm fairly happy with them. Comfortable? Yes they are. Water resistant? I don't know, it was dry when I wore them. Supportive? Yes they are! My one complaint about these are that there is too much room in the toe box!Not something I'd typically complain about - I have high arches and that usually means my toes (or the top of my toes) are compromised in a rather snug shoe. But these? They are waaay too roomy in the toe! I could scrunch and curl up my toes under and still had enough room to wiggle. I ended up having to put in some thicker insole inserts to eat up some of that toe space just to walk comfortably without feeling like my shoes were flopping around. They didn't feel like they would fall off, as the lacing was snug, but the toe are was so spacious that I wouldn't actually feel safe wearing these out on the trail for fear of my foot twisting around inside the shoe while on uneven ground.That might be a selling point for the next buyer but I don't have bunions and don't need the extra space in the toe box. The rest of the shoe? Awesome. Great tread, comfortable insoles, breathable & durable fabric. Durable but not solid like my first pair of Rykas, which were all leather high top shoes I wore to the gym for my aerobics classes in the 90s, lol. But shoes aren't made like that anymore - I wish they were, because sometimes I don't want a sport shoe that's essentially a mesh sock glued to a lightweight foam sole. ;)

PERFECT FIT
Due to a recent toe surgery I need a shoe with a wider toe box than my Acciss sneaker. These are perfect, my toes are not squished. The gel insert has conformed to my foot within hours. The arch support is hitting in the right area for my high arches. And the heel area is hugging my narrow heels perfectly! I’m so happy to have found this level of comfort and fit. I too felt a “lump” below my right toes, but within an hour it was gone. The gel shifted with my foot and toes. If they hold up well, I will purchase these in the future. Live the color.

Good at first, but uncomfortable after a few months of light wear
I like the color and the fit. After wearing for light hikes/walks they were fine. Longer hikes/walks became uncomfortable, and I needed to add another insert to provide more support.

Stitching came apart after 28 wears
I bought this shoe to wear on vacations only. After 28 wears, the stitching at the toe has come apart. Really disappointing because they are very comfortable shoes.

Love these shoes!
I got these shoes about an hour ago. I have been wearing them since and just went for a run.I am absolutely in love with these shoes!! They are extremely light weight, super comfortable and I love the fact that the “leather material” is actual leather!They are true to size (at least for me).
