Sturdy, Comfy, but not wide enough.
These are more comfortable than my Danners. On the first day, I wore them them all day around the house, as they seemed to be a bit stiffer and sturdier than my Kenai's were (which I love, love, love and wish I had gotten a few more pairs, as they don't make them any more). Turns out, there was no break-in period needed with these either. The width fit is narrower than expected. IF I get another pair, I will get a wide and keep my fingers crossed. My foot is on the narrow end of the medium width spectrum, and even I can't wear heavy winter socks with these medium width boots. Even for me, the toe-box isn't roomy enough for my narrower medium width feet. (I used to be a AA width as a kid, graduated to A width as a young adult, and now I am older than I'd like and well into the medium width range according to the shoe store.)
