I love these shoes. Extremely comfortable and a joy to wear. The closure method is very unique and the looks are top notch. These shoes are very cool and perfect for everything from street wear to hiking.Quality materials and craftsmanship. They run fairly true to size but might be slightly narrow. I find them enjoyable to wear.Great shoes with nice looks.
For reference, I generally wear a size US10, Mens.After unboxing, the appearance of these shoes was underwhelming, looked better on Amazon's website, and left me apprehensive about their quality. They appeared to be very narrow and had visible glue around various parts of the shoe. Additionally, the silver paint around the heel area was spotty, uneven. These factors made me seriously doubt the price point/value of these shoes.As I attempted to put on these shoes, it became evident the term 'Slip On' may be a bit misrepresented. IMO, a true slip on is hands-free. I found that the way the shoe tongue is designed, this pair requires the use of hands to 'slip on'.After putting on the shoes, it became very evident these shoes are very narrow compared to a standard shoe, which caused the upper fabric to grip the outside of the pads of my feet. Additionally, when walking or kneeling and in that same area, the fabric would crease causing more pressure to the sides of the pads of my feet. Length fit well, giving me just a bit of room at the toes. Also, due to the shoe design, it fits around my foot like a glove.Currently, I have used them for 2 days now and they felt like they broke in after just half a day. The creasing I just described I could no longer feel nor did how narrow they are bother me. These shoes have a very hard, rubber outsole, and a very squishy midsole. I found the insoles to be comfortable to the point I do not have to replace them. With these factors, I found these shoes to be very comfortable while walking and standing. Walking they gave a very nice spring or bounce. Standing felt very supportive. I would not run in these shoes as the squishy mid sole makes my knees take a lot of shock.My additional observations: these shoes did not squeak on tile floor. Again, a bit of a misrepresentation, I did not find these shoes to be 'breathable'. Quite the opposite, IMO. Last, the tongue is very thin but does have a bit of padding.After testing and in summary, I would not purchase these shoes at the price point because there are well known brands that offer more for a similar price, however, I did find these shoes to be quite comfortable after their break-in period. I wouldn't let the narrowness of the shoes sway me from testing more products of this brand, as after just half a day, I couldn't even tell they were narrow. This may not be the case though with folks who generally wear wide sized shoes. Cheers!
I am so impressed with these shoes. They are extremely comfortable, easily slip on and off and have a tightening string if you need it. These are very comfortable to walk in, the coloring is great and the quality is very good, a sturdy and extremely durable shoe. These tread in these is perfect for light walking and being in your feet. Great price for shoes like these, definitely recommend!
These slip ons look good and feel lightweight, but the fit runs narrow and the opening is tighter than expected. They did loosen up a little after wearing them and started to mold to my feet, but they are still more snug than I prefer. Overall decent quality, cushioning is decent and the sole is has good grip, but the upper puts pressure on the top of my foot after a few hours. They are wearable, just not an easy slip on due to the smaller opening. Hoping they continue to stretch with more use.
When I ordered these, there was nothing in the listing that had a size chart or much info about the shoe beyond what is in the pictures at the top (The pictures in the body of the product page were not there at the time). I found it weird that there are half sizes for some sizes and not others, but I went with the 7 because I know that generally the equivalent size of women's shoes to men's shoes is 1.5 sizes smaller, so a men's 7 should fit a women's 8.5. I wear an 8.5 or 9 depending on the shoe, and the men's 8 would be the equivalent of a women's 9.5, which would be too large. As there was no provided size chart, I even used a generic size chart and even measured my foot to make sure I'd have a good chance of it fitting. Unfortunately these run small and narrow, apparently for a "secure trail fit." I wish this information had been part of the listing when I ordered the shoes - I would have sized up. While I can get them on, they are just too narrow and short for me to comfortably wear them. I'm super bummed because they are a great looking shoe, and appear to be really well made, and I really like the features they advertise. Sadly, I can't even exchange them for the appropriate size, as they do not come in a 7.5. I could try the 8, but I think they would be too big.
The mom is getting there in age and has a bit of trouble tying her shoes. These one feature a slip on design and are very easy for her to wear. The material is flexible and breathable so there's no discomfort at all when she goes for her walks!
My husband feels these shoes are harder to put on than others, a little tight across the top on his feet. But he likes the look, he likes the weight, and once on he finds them comfortable. He is probably used to a more loose shoe, but my opinion is they fit like an athletic shoe should, but we would not say they are slipon. He just returned from a hiking trip and his feet didn't get sore or any blisters from new shoes, so that says something!*As an Amazon Vine member I personally select the products to review.
