Picky about your feet/shoes? These are for you.

One of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. I have wide feet, I typically need Altra, Keen or the like. I am extremely picky as well. I can’t have any flaws or issues inside as they will drive me insane. Even a hair in my shoe is enough to make me sit and find and remove it. These are very comfortable for me. I did go up a 1/2 size because I don’t like my toes squished together, I’m sure the added length also translates into just enough extra girth to make these perfect. And the blue color is just bad ass. These will be a daily wear shoe and not a work or hiker as I have dedicated shoes for those activities. I do feel like they would meet my needs as a work shoe (comfortable, fairly breathable, and should last about 5,000 miles as I walk about 10 miles a day in a warehouse). If I needed a pair of work shoes right now, I’d buy a second pair for that.I’m sure I’ll buy another pair in a couple of months just in case these get discontinued in the future.

great traction

I have not had a chance to hike in these yet but they are really light and comfortable. they have great traction as well. I will put them to the test in October going to Banff Alberta for 10 days of hiking I will re-post then.

The boots are great , HDO sport tho...

These are a solid option for a light weight water resistant / proof bootGreat quality and seem well worth it and I wish I could rate the item and the fulfiller separatelyThey fit smaller than expected for me, and might suggest a half size up if on the fenceThe fulfiller or whatever they are called (HDO sport) took forever to just put a box in a bag and ship the item (ordered on Feb 26 shipped on March 12 on a leap year)It took so long to get here that I'm not bothering with returning the item and then going through the whole ordering and wait process againI would give the product itself 5 stars for sureHDO sports would get a 2 , and the experience is making me look elsewhere to get my next 3 season hiking bootIf you get the right fit I can't imagine being disappointed, but be aware that if they are being fulfilled by HDO it will take someone rowing a canoe across the pond and back before they get around to shipping your item

Extensive backpacking use, one drawback

I’ve used these boots extensively over time in wet conditions on backpacking trips. They were very comfortable and extremely grippy.Initially, the boots were fully waterproof and performed well for hiking and outdoor work. After extended use the waterproofing began to fail and I started noticing moisture getting through in wet conditions. This didn’t happen immediately, but it did develop with time and use.I contacted the company’s customer support about the issue, and they honored the warranty and replaced the boots at no cost. However the pair that I originally got was out of stock so they let me choose a different pair, the process was straightforward.

Salomon killer!

These hiking boots are by far the best hikers Ive ever owned! I was a fan of Salomon boots and shoes but I will never go back after trying these out. Comfortable out of the box and very durable (so far anyway)

Definitely repels the water better than most

I'm sold. I will be wearing this for work and most likely ordering another pair for out door fun. With most claims being water resistant; they fall short. I have not had one issue with dampness in my shoes. Congratulations on making a solid boot

Barely water resistant

The waterproofing on these shoes is terrible. They wetted totally through from simply walking in wet vegetation. These are basically useless to me.
