Lots of Compliments, Especially From My Feet!

I hurt my knee wearing xeros on a hiking trip in Yellowstone last year and needed a better option for Jasper, Canada. This fit the bill. Our guide on a Via Ferrata loved my boots as well. They're super picky on what they will let you climb a mountain with. I did need to make a few adjustments to the tongue, and move the fabric to the outside, so the bulk of the material between the tongue and boot didn't dig into my foot. Once I had that figured out, they were perfect. The only time these don't work, is when you're trying to break them in, while wearing wool socks, in 98 degree Florida weather. They don't breathe! But as they are for mountain climbing, they weren't intended for sunny, flat Florida.
