Cute, But Need More Cushioning

As a child of the 60s, I do certainly remember this style of shoe and think that this version is a really fun addition to my wardrobe. However, I'm a little disappointed in the fit, which is wider than normal, and the lack of cushioning in the insole. These shoes don't provide much support for my foot. The vegan leather is also not as soft as real leather and they feel a little stiff. They do have a good sole and the zipper plus elastic at the sides allows the shoes to easily slip on my feet. I plan to put an insole insert into them to help with the fit and comfort, and will wear them as a fun fashion statement, but not when my feet really need support.

Finally, Something That Fits My Wide Feet

I was really happy when these showed up. I like moccasin-style shoes because they tend to run wider, and finding shoes that fit my triple-D width foot is nearly impossible most of the time. These fit great and are actually super comfortable. Easy to slip on, no struggle with tightness, and they feel nice on my feet even right out of the box. The style is also really fun and a little different, which I like. My only little concern is about long-term wear... I feel like after a while, the rubber soles might make my feet sweat more, and that could lead to the dreaded stinky foot situation that so many of us work so hard to avoid. But for short-term or casual wear they’re perfect, especially if you have wider feet like me. They’re comfy, easy, and cute. Definitely happy with the purchase.

Beautiful quality; may want to size down

Well, I love the shoes but they are too big. I wear 6.5-7 in shoes and probably should have gotten a 6.5 if not a 6 vs the 7 I selected. Interestingly, the way they zip up at ankle actually makes them not slip, but I have a good inch extra in length. They look like beautiful quality and I only wish I’d known to go down a little in size. I will try wearing around house and see if my daughter can wear them. I also may be able to wear a thicker sock with them. My biggest advice is the possibility of sizing down at least a half size or if you are sort of on the line, choose the smaller in my opinion.
