extremely durable and comfortable

These shoes legitimately saved my life. I was hiking a 14’er in Colorado when a freak weather storm hit. We got pummeled by heavy rains, wind, and hail. These shoes allowed me to run through the water, flooding trails, and mud slides without any falls. Even though it was my first use of these hiking shoes, and they were completely water and mud logged, it was easy to rinse off dry and are like brand new again. 100/10 would buy again.

too narrow. uncomfortable sitting/standing for long periods (blood not circulating)

Shoe functions fine, just too snug. Great for upright walking, provides good traction in dry mountain/high desert conditions; but way too uncomfortable to sit for more than 15 minutes (i.e. driving to a trail head). I have walked a few hundred miles in them but have to take them off when ever I drive or if standing in place-- actually cause pain that lingers after shoe is removed.
