Very comfortable!!!

These hikers are awesome! Light weight, flexible, and oh so comfortable. I have a high arch and these give plenty of arch support! Why did it take me so long to try Salomon!?

Good choice for people with foot aches

LOVE this brand, always have. Comfortable straight out of the box. Good cushioning, good support. Currently have mild plantar fasciitis and these shoes assist rather than aggravate. Also, small additional points, but not necessarily deal breakers - I absolutely love, love, LOVE the quick lace closure…and the color looks great too!!

Good shoe. Terrible sizing.

I read several reviews that said they run a little large, then a few that said they ran small. I figured that averaged out to being fairly true to size. Nope. I ordered my normal size and they are definitely too big. I started to return them and purchase a smaller size, until I noticed that a full or half size smaller in the same shoe is nearly double the price. I'll deal with a poor fit for $60. I like the shoe overall. It's very stiff, but several coworkers wear them and have assured me they'll break in quickly. It is comfortable and easy on/off. Of note, I do not plan to use these for trail running - I wanted a more supportive alternative to boots for work.EDIT: Okay, I returned them. Too huge; I wore them for a couple of hours in station and then realized I would probably trip while attempting to lift a patient. For reference, I wear a 10 in Brooks, Asics, Nike, Merrell, Keen, New Balance, and Ryka. I think I would need a 9 in these. Seems like a great shoe and a great seller, just bad sizing.

Hurts, weird insole

Squeezes the heel!!! Too much room in the toe. Why?! I didn't even go hiking yet and my feel hurt. As you can see in the picture, the hell is very narrow.
