These shoes are awesome! Right out of the box comfortable, the leather is already molding to my feet and I've only had them on for a couple hours. Nothing rubbing anywhere. I bought the same style/color for my toddler daughter so we could match, and OMG, so adorable. I love the style for kids and grown-ups! I usually wear size 8, and these 8's fit great. I can tell the leather will stretch out a little as they soften, which is nice since I think the balls of my feet are a tad wide. If you have super wide feet, these may not be as great. Though Salt Water Sandal makes styles with an adjustable strap over the toes too. The sole in quite flat, but very flexible and feels like it will also mold to my feet. They are not tons of support, but have a nice softness to them. I imagine I could spend a day in these happily. And they can get wet! I even read that the leather gets softer as they get wet and mushed around. Very excited to take these to the beach and the lake!

Stylish and functional
I bought these for my daughter because I wanted shoes that would basically go with anything. That's exactly what I got. These sandals are well-made. They fit slightly large when I first got them, but now fit perfectly. I planned for that, so it worked out great. My daughter was comfortably wearing Toddler size 9 in most shoes at the beginning of summer, and these were slightly on the big side. But she could still wear them. She now is starting to get into Toddler size 10, and these fit her.My daughter, as a 3-year-old, is pretty hard on shoes. They tend to get scuffed up and stained in no time. These sandals were bought several months ago, and still look brand new. There is no sign of wear-and-tear. They bend and flex just the right amount for her to be able to run and jump in them. The most important benefit, (as every girl would agree), is that they are really cute. I am very happy with this purchase and will most likely buy Salt-Water sandals every summer.

Great adult sandal
I wear a size 6 wide (sometimes 6.5 but rarely) & I ordered a size 4. They fit perfectly and were plenty wide enough for toe splay without looking like I’m wearing clown shoes. Win.I try to stick with minimalist shoes for our family so I am blessed to have found flat sandals with an ankle strap that aren’t made of pleather and don’t have to spend a weekend off-gassing in the garage. However I think the insoles are man made....? Bummer. Could fix with removable insoles, I guess. Wore them in Monterey & in Tahoe with no noticeable foot funk/foot sweat. Double win.The first wear, I noticed a little bit of rubbing behind the ankle and I ended up getting them wet; the second time I didn’t notice it.These look chic enough for cute summer outfits, cotton dresses and shorts, etc; I got my 9 year old daughter the same style and color (brown)and she loves them too! Salt Water sandals are my favorite!
This my second pair of Salt Water sandals to buy for my daughter. Last year's pair held up beautifully and went with every outfit. This year I bought the original sandal and I hope it will be just as comfy and long lasting as the surfer sandal. I originally bought a cheaper sandal from a large chain store but they pinched my daughter's foot terribly and would not stay on. I quickly decided to pay the money for a quality shoe that will wear well and match everything. She has a very long, narrow foot and I was worried these would be too wide since there is no buckle across the toes. Nope, they seem to fit perfectly. The only thing that I do not love about these sandals is that she is unable to buckle independently (she is 3) but that is minor. I plan to buy Saltwater every summer for both of my girls. Great shoe and worth the cost!

Comfortable, practical, and cute - the shoe trifecta
I am currently on day 8 of a summer vacation in overseas. It has been over 90°F every day and I’ve been walking miles every day. My feet are hot and swollen and sweaty and tired — but my feet are NOT blistered and they are NOT bleeding and they are NOT squishing up against the straps of my sandals. These shoes are PERFECT.I was nervous having never tried this brand before, and I knew I needed some kind of comfortable sandal for this trip. I followed the reviews and soaked the sandals in hot water and then wore them until they dried the day before my trip. I then crossed my fingers and went overseas with a pair of new shoes.They have been perfect since day 1. Every morning when I put these sandals back on, it’s like wearing a pair of old friends (or something). They have molded to my feet perfectly. I have worn them right into the ocean and they were just fine. I have done light hiking over rocky dirt roads and they were just fine. And they are cute!I have wide flat feet and the width of these sandals is a godsend. Usually sandals start to strangle my feet after a day of swelling after walking around in the hot sun but these have been so, so comfortable. I usually wear a 6 or 6.5 and a 6 fits me perfectly.The only downside I have found is that these are not supportive, they are completely flat soles. By the end of the day my feet are a little tired, but at least they are not in pain. These shoes are for sure my 100% go-to sandals.

I really like these sandals. I'm a women's size 6, sometimes 6 1/2 depending on the shoe. I got size 4 big kid. I almost didn't get them because some reviewers wrote that their kids with wider feet didn't fit. My toe box is somewhat wide and I always have issues with shoes,sandals crushing my toes, i figure oh well let me try them I have Prime & can always return them. I'm glad I got them. The first day I wore them they did pinch my toe slightly on my left foot, but nothing too uncomfortable. I wore them again today and no discomfort in the toe area. There is no support as far as walking for long distances but they're very cute & I like the fact that ill be able to wear them into the beach/river water when I go on vacation. I hope they get the other colors in stock in my size soon because I plan on getting more if they hold up well at the beach.
