Best basic sandals ever
I've owned three pairs of Gigis over the past few years in various colors, and they remain my absolute must-have shoe staple for the summer. These puppies have seen it all - music festivals, city outings, sloppy nights out, and long day trips - and have lived to tell the tale. They look flimsy, but they're solid shoes and I never worried about them falling apart like I have with some other comparably priced brands. I love the simple elegance of these shoes - they go with just about everything I own, and they're comfortable to boot.FIT: I have pretty wide feet, and although I find many Sam Edelman styles are too narrow for my feet, these are just right. They also fit true to size, I am a 10 and that size is perfect. The ankle strap is adjustable, although right when they arrive it can be tough to unbuckle them (but once you get through that, it's a snap). Since there is an elastic on the strap, once I find the right size for my foot, I leave it buckled and just slide them on/off which is less of a pain then having to buckle them every time you put them on.All in all, if you're on the fence, BUY THESE SHOES. They won't let you down, and if you're like me, you'll probably end up with a closet full of Gigis you don't know what to do with.

Cute (but narrow) sandals!
I sized up 1/2 to a 6.5 instead of my usual size 6 (in most shoes). And I'm glad I did! My toes didn't "hang" off at the top, which probably would have if I had purchased a size 6. I cannot vouch for narrow or wide feet, but I think if your feet are narrow enough, you'd be able to get away with buying your true shoe size. As for wide feet, sizing up 1 whole size would probably help you get the width you need.The sandal itself is quite comfy, although if you are in need of arch supports, this sandal is not for you. There is a bit of cushion, but it only helps on the areas where your soles come in contact with the foot bed itself (pretty obvious). The strap is easily adjustable, and it doesn't (or at least hasn't yet for me this week) chafe/rub against your skin.The sandals are nicely packaged inside the original box, with tissue paper stuffing around the sandal to keep them from getting squished. It also arrived before the estimated shipping date (Tuesday at 11:30 am-12 pm instead of Wednesday on 8 pm), which was nice.Overall, this is a cute basic sandal for the warmer months! Can't wait to buy more colors!

I own the Sam Edelman Gigi sandal in three colors. I don't normally wear flat sandals but the way these are made they provide good food bed support and cushion. The color is a beautiful Robin egg blue. Goes with so many things. Well made. Leather sole. Love. If you can find this sandal for less than $60 anywhere buy it. Normally $120+.

Runs small
