Comfy, adjustable, wish it had a leather foot bed

There are a lot of things to like about the is golfing sandal. I like that the straps are easily adjustable and that the velcro hangs on even with all the walking and twisting associated with golf. The straps are a dainty-ish width while still maintaining function. The colors are rather flattering and relatively neutral to go with many outfits. I have rather wide feet with sort of short toes. In sandals I am usually a size 5. These sandals fit! Well, at least fit as best as any sandal does. My feet, what I call "islander feet," are so wide that in sandals my pinky toes usually hangs off. The straps in these sandals lay in such a way that while my pinky toes did that, the straps hid and secured them mostly in place, while also not pinching my foot. I imagine those with normal, or even narrower, feet could still wear this with the straps being adjustable. Through my driving range and 9-hole round of golf the traps and width were comfy. The arch support was comfy and I like the spring that the rubber sole provided as I walked. I've only worn these shoes once. I wish I could wear them again. The deal breaker is fabric of the footbed. I wish it was made of leather, pleather, microsuede or some other fabric. I hated the way the fabric of these sandals rubbed against the soles of my feet. I think leather, microsuede or something else would have made me fall in love with these shoes. My feet don't sweat much. Maybe someone else with with sweatier feet would like this. For me, it made my already dry skin more dry and well, the sensation was a dealbreaker.

Terrible construction.

After waiting almost 2 weeks I was ecstatic to finally try them on. So comfy I headed out the front door to go play 9 in the 80 degree perfectWeather only to have the heel leather pop out of place it is suppose to be secured between the footbed and heel. Not happy at all. Forecast is exceptionally good this week. No time to wait 2 more weeks for a replacement. If they choose to overnight me a new pair. I’ll reconsider my review.

Great fitting golf sandals I’ve compared them all

Best fitting women’s golf Sandals by far—I have large sensitive feet that need arch support. Spendy( $$$) but worth it if they’ll last several seasons. Will be interested to see how fast the cleats wear down , or if the Velcro fails over time.
