Lovely, stylish shoes if you give it some adjustment time
These shoes are very stylish. As expected, they have a wooden sole, so if you are used to jell and ultra cushion soles you will need some adjustment time with these. Speaking of adjustment time, they are very tight across the top of the foot, even when they fit really well. Be prepared to "break them in" for a week or so. For the first 8 days of wear, I would wear them in the morning and then have a second old pair of shoes that I would use for the rest of the day. After a while, the top stretches and the shoes become more comfortable. I wear them without socks. All of the above is a part of wearing this type of shoe, so no complaints. It is worth it and the shoes support your feet well.The only tiny complaint I have is the instructions about not wearing them in the rain. It is possible that I am being overprotective (I love these shoes after all) but I have to check the forecast to make sure there will be no rain before wearing them! :)

Love at first step!
I LOVE these beautiful clogs. The care put into them is clear. They’re good quality, sturdy, not overly heavy, and of course very cute. They’ll go well with any wardrobe. I can wear them to work and be comfortable on my feet all day. I did waterproof them so as to preserve the soft leather, and they do take a little while to break in, but trust me-it’s worth it. They run small, so size up accordingly.

Not worth the money
These shoes are soooo cute! But one of the shoes came super tight, and the other was super loose. After 3 months I would have expected the right shoe to have been broken in but it has not. I can only wear them for half a day before I have to take them off. I’m a teacher, and I’m often times sitting on the carpet with my students. Due to this, the color on the toes of each shoe is already beginning to fade. For the amount of money I spent on these shoes, I just expected so much more than what I got. I would not recommend for anything beyond a special occasion, only wear for a few hours kind of shoe, but I wouldn’t spend that kind of money again on this brand.

Defective. Not study at all
For the amount of money I paid for these shoes I thought they would be more durable. I've worn them a handful of times and the seams of the left shoe have come undone. I'm all for handmade shoes but they have to remain intact. The optimist that I am, I thought a little touch up glue would work. But alas it did not. However, in doing so I missed the window to return my 1 day. This is the worst kind of buyer's remorse. Otherwise it's a cute style of shoe. Just wish I had a pair that wasn't defective

Beautiful but too wide
I’m so sad these didn’t work for me. My feet are very narrow with no arch support so these did not look right on my feet. I ended up buying the low heel mule and I love them. I gave them 4 stars because the heel is extremely wide. If the company could make this model a little more narrow at the heel, I would buy them in every color. Beautiful quality but don’t get them wet, they will stain.

Size Up One Size
I am a solid American 9.5 and I took a 41 in these. For reference, I am a 40 in Birkenstocks and usually a 40 in other clogs. I have slight bunions on my feet and they rubbed a little with the first wear. This is a common problem for me and usually resolves with time and breaking in but I hastened the process with a cast iron ball stretcher made just for this purpose; to stretch shoes at points they rub. This also softened the leather some on the hot spots and I highly recommend such a device if you don’t care for the pain in breaking in new leather shoes.This is my second pair of Sandgrens (I own numerous brands of other clogs too) and the quality is great on these. I did not find the fit narrow and the toe box has a good amount of room. My other pair of Sandgrens are the Victorias in sz 40. I am on wear #3 with these Bretts today and can wear them all day in comfort. The leather starts out pretty stiff but softens with wear and/or manipulation with a stretcher. The natural leather color seems to go with everything and is very versatile.I would definitely buy these again.

Run small or irregular
These shoes are beautiful, for the style and quality of materials and craftsmanship I would give them five stars. Many people said they ran big. I sized down as I’m a half size and they were way way way too small. So I returned them and ordered the next size up. The second pair I received were irregular. The left shoe is 100% a 36 and the right a 38. So that’s the 3 Star.AND the second paid was sent to be in a plastic warehouse deals bag when I paid full price. I expect an expensive shoe to at least be sent in its box. That’s a bone with Amazon, not with the shoe it’s self. But completely not ok in my book.
