Great Comfortable Shoe...get even better over time!

Purchased these shoes as a replacement to my well worn and very comfortable Skechers shoes that I've had for years.I had been looking for a similar shoe but could not find the original shoes that I had bought back in 2011. These shoes are about as close as a find to the Skechers shoes that I love. These shoes are the type that get more and more comfortable as you wear them. They do fray but are meant to do so which gives them "character" over time. They do have air holes which are nice if you prefer to wear them without socks. I prefer to wear socks however as I don't like the feel of the material on my bare feet. The soles of these shoes are a little larger than I would have liked and looking down at my feet the Sanuk Vagabonds sort of remind me of clown shoes with the huge rounded toe. The Skechers did have a nice addition of a plaid lining which I thought was a nice added touch that the Sanuks do not have. Overall though, I am sure I will love these as I continue to wear them and I am sure they will mold nicely to my feet and be as comfortable over time as my Sketchers have proven. They do come with a plastic hanger which is sort of gimmicky as I would never hang my shoes on a hanger. I ended up recycling the plastic hanger. I don't think this is a necessary item to include with the product and think the company could save some money by not including these. That being said, I will definitely purchase from Sanuk again as I like that they offer a variety of shoe sandal styles and colors. You will like your purchase if you are looking for a comfortable every day shoe to wear and being a surfer is not a prerequisite to own a pair. :)Sanuk Men's Vagabond Slip On, Grey, 10 M US

Awesome, cool, comfortable, and good for any occasion!

I stumbled upon these shoes I guess when the company first started and found them at a Kiosk. I had an impromptu trip to the beach and the sand was on fire, so I just grabbed a decent looking pair of shoes that I could wear at the beach that day. I didn't pay much attention to them and took them home and it was sometime later that I took them to the lake for boating. It was there that I was wearing them a lot around the campground etc where I really started to notice how comfortable these were. They quickly became my favorite shoe despite many of my friends making fun of me. Fast forward this style of shoe becomes popular and 10 years later the shoe starts to show decline. I was heartbroken, returning to the store I found these every year with no luck (some no name beach shop). The inside logo had long worn off. The day came and my pair was finally at retirement, as they were literally falling apart I found another hidden logo. I immediately searched it and found these shoes again! And they have become quite popular! I have since ordered this pair and another... I just spent several days walking around Las Vegas in this pair and they did not disappoint. Cool, comfortable, and just generally awesome. When you get them you wouldn't think about walking long distances in these shoes, but I can guarantee, they will become your favorite shoe. Now if you are one of those people with some weird foot problem and issues with tennis shoes etc, you should know better and what you need. But for the millions with no feet problems, these will be the most comfortable shoe for casual, boating, beach, walking around vegas, whatever!! Oh, and of course after years of looking for them, I get these and go to vegas only to find a store there that carries them! Oh well. GREAT SHOE!

Great casual slip-on

I'm writing these notes because of all the mixed reviews I read.1. The recommendations for sizing were spot-on for size 9. I typically wear a 9-9.5 depending on brand, (9-wide fits me best), and I got these in a 9 and they fit perfect.2. Fit is very similar to the Crocs version, but these have more vibe and better looks IMO.3. I own the Crocs version, and they have a softer, more rubbery and supportive sole than these; the Sanuks are more like an enclosed flip flop.4. I would recommend the Crocs more for all-day on your feet, and I would recommend the Sanuk's more for looks and pairing with your favorite 90's rock tee shirt and ripped jeans or board shorts at the beach.5. If you are a rare breed like me and drive stick, I would slightly prefer the Sanuk's over the Crocs for heel-toe because the Sanuk sole extends out a little from the canvas and the thinner bottom is better for feel.
