Love the shoe! Extremely comfortable to walk in.
I'm wearing them right now!I've had them for about 3 weeks now (charcoal shoes), and they're now my "go to" shoe for the weekends. I wear them all weekend long at a campground which is primarily sandy surfaces. I bought these to replace my old slides which I never really cared for the appearance of.I was concerned when I first got them because they fit a little snug along the tops and it didn't feel as though my foot was sliding far enough in them, however after wearing them for one weekend, they were perfectly broken in and now fit great.I wear a size 10, I ordered a size 10, and they fit fine.Pros:1. The look great!2. They fit great!3. They're comfortable enough to wear all day long!4. "Smile ... Pass it on" - Love it!Cons:1. I'm a little worried about the life expectancy given that the bottoms are already starting to show wear even though I primarily wear them on sandy surfaces. Check out the pic. On the bottom there used to be a whole bunch of those cool little little Sanuk dudes (which looked really cool when walking in the sand), however now they're all pretty much worn off, and I've only had them for 3 weeks.2. Not as much ventilation as my slides had (obviously), and my feet heat up. This may just be an issue for me alone though.3. A little on the pricey side ($45).All in all as long as I can get the season out of them, I'm pretty sure that I'd buy them again (unless the price goes up). Might try the tan next time if the price drops (right now at $53 for some reason).
Everything is good Thanks Much
Many years ago, I had a business meeting with this company about a possible collaboration (it never happened) and they gave me a pair of these as a gift, so I could get more familiar with them.I’ve since bought an additional 4 pairs - each time replacing a pair that had been absolutely worn out with loving use. They’re that good. Comfortable, easy, and just all around incredible. Wearing these shoes is like letting a small part of your body pretend it’s NOT a workday; that part of you never left the weekend and is just in constant training for your next beach vacation. If only they made something my brain could wear too. It’s worth noting - these shoes run a bit small; I recommend rounding up to the next size (I wear a 10.5 and get an 11). Also, very important: The shoes are INTENTIONALLY small when you get them; they’re gonna feel a little tight at first. That’s because they start to form around your feet after the first couple of weeks; having them be a little tight now is why they’ll feel perfect once they’re broken in.
I've been wearing Sanuk's for several years now, as they are comfortable, easy to slip on/off (we don't wear outside shoes in the house) and nice looking (though obviously casual).Sadly, I wore out a pair of leather ones because I often slipped them on without putting my heels in the shoes. Eventually my heels wore through the material around the elastic band at the rear, leaving the band flopping around to get tangled in my foot when slipping them on and making it pretty much impossible to get my heels to stay in the shoe any longer.I don't blame the shoes, it was completely my fault, but when I saw these backless Sanuk's, I knew I had to get them so I could avoid the problem in the future. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is they could fit a bit more securely. They are snug enough, so that's not the problem, but my foot doesn't go far enough into the shoe unless I really make an effort to do that. They're fine to slip on for a quick trip to the mailbox or to grab something from the garage or garden shed, but I wouldn't feel safe driving in them or engaging in any fast moving activity.
I bought these to use as indoor slippers for a quick on-and-off, plus liked that they would allow my feet to breathe. I was already familiar with the fine quality of the products, given that I and a few of my friends own Sanuk shoes. They even hold up well after tossing them in the washer. Rather than gamble on slightly cheaper knock-offs, I go with a known entity. They're well designed, well-made, and comfortable. I like their line of shoes, and these "Got My Back II" slippers are awesome. They stay put when on and yet you can get in and out of them easily, quickly, and without bending down. They're excellent for year-round inside wear; simply pair them with wool socks for cool temps, or light wicking socks for warmer temps.
Have bought these over and over for my husband. He loves them and they fit great. They have arch support and are very durable. They are great for walking and super breathable.
