Plush ride, good shoes
During the past 4 months I run with pearl izumi h3 v2. I wanted a companion shoe to run interchangeably. One blogger mentioned he likes both the pearl izumi h3 and the hurricane iso2. Well, they are not anything like the pearl izumi. From a single 5k run trying to brake them in gently I'm very pleased. The ride is plush and soft. I usually have a hard time getting use to new shoes so I found the first run very pleasing since I didn't feel anything stretched, tight or sore. They feel quite comfortable. The sole doesn't grip sandy route very well. The lacing is OK. I wear 12.5 in most shoes: Merrell, Inov-8, new balance, pearl izumi. I ordered 13 and it is still a little shorter and narrower than my 12.5 pearl izumi, but fits ok. Perhaps i should have ordered the 2E.So far from my limited experience I think it will make a fine shoe.Edit 1 - 3 weeks after around 100k thus farWhen I first wore them they felt mush-like and squishy. Today they feel much firmer. I can't pin point the exact point where that happened somewhere around 50k-70k. I definitely need the D and not the 2E. They loosened up a little and I feel enough forefoot space for my toes. So my experience is go 1/2 a size up but width is true. Overall I'm still very pleased with this shoe, I like it much better than my pearl izumi h3 and last week I selected the saucony for all the workouts. sole shoes no wear and so is the upper.

GREAT shoe, but it fits 1/2 size smaller then expected. I wear a size 11 1/2 in basically every running shoe I have ever owned and these were way to tight in that size. Had to return and reorder, thankfully Amazon honored the sale price on new the new size. These have a lot of cushioning and so far feel great. Only 1 run so far but I think these are my new go to shoe. 😀 4 star review because of the fit issue.

... clarify some of the reports that this shoe is terrible and small and tight
I'm writing this review to try and clarify some of the reports that this shoe is terrible and small and tight. I have, for years, always worn a size 9 shoe. I am mostly flat-footed (I have an ever so slight arch), I tend to overpronate when barefoot or in neutral shoes, and I toe-out while walking. This shoe is highly cushioned, but not mushy feeling when walking/running and anyone looking for an awesome stability shoe should seriously consider this one. Some reviews said that the arch in the shoe was too pronounced and hurt their foot, but I actually found this shoe to have little to no arch and my foot felt great inside, and I've tried many shoes on in the past with too much arch in them that have caused me foot pain while walking and running. That being said, this shoe runs SLIGHTLY small and narrow, but not terribly or unbearably tight. I am usually on the line between a wide and medium width shoe depending on the manufacturer, but I could get my feet into a medium sized 9 without any discomfort, and that's saying something for me since I'm typically on the line between wide and medium width. However, length-wise, I did feel the shoe is too short, and I am returning the size 9 for a 9.5. I, again, could easily fit my foot into the shoe, and I still had enough room in the toe box and maybe a quarter-inch worth of room between my big toe and the upper, but that being said, I think moving up to a size 9.5 will accommodate for my slightly wide-ish foot and give my big toe the wiggle room I like at the end of my shoes (usually a thumbnail's width). So in summary, is it a little bit narrow and short? yes. Enough to warrant giving an awesome shoe a poor review? Absolutely not. Maybe instead of knocking an awesome shoe for being slightly short, just go try it on first before buying it! Hope this helped any prospective shoppers!

Shoe is very good. The one aggravating factor is the lack of snug heel. Foot feels as though it will slide up and out of shoe even with walking. Issue is worse with exercise. Foot/heel has not slipped out of the heel yet. As with most cross-training shoes when using with stationary bike, the bike peddle presses through when standing peddling. A stiffer bottomed shoe may be better to keep the peddle pressure from passing to the foot.

as always, I have been using Saucony Hurricane running shoes since they debuted. I have been running for 21 + years. The fit and feel from old to new shoes has always been great. I was concerned when the original Hurricane 16 design was eliminated and the switch to ISO 2 was introduced. However, since Saucony has never disappointed me I proceeded to purchased the ISP-2 shoe. I have only made 2- 3-4 mile runs to date. They are great at this point. I use an orthotic and the shoe has room for this and is very comfortable. Looking forward to many more runs. You will not be disappointed.

Sized right and Excellent support
I walk stairs five days a week and I am a large man so I need solid shoes with rugged cushioning; these Saucony's fill the bill. I have many pairs of this brand in various models, but the Hurricanes are my favorite because of the beefed up cushioning. They aren't the lightest model because of that, but I am more than good with it. I were an 11.5 D and that is what I bought and that is what I got. They fit just right. Brooks shoes tend to fit slightly small, but Saucony makes theirs right on the money for me. What can I say about them other than that? They are good looking shoes that breathe well and support me while I pound the stairs. A good investment at a good price through Amazon. Thanks.

Good shoe but bad heel
I am a fan of Saucony running shoes. I've had 3 good, solid pairs from this brand. But these didn't measure up to my favorite Saucony Mirages. I tend to prefer neutral shoes over stability ones. The heel of these shoes just felt too thick for me. It has a 8ml offset, which is twice the number of what I prefer. I couldn't comfortably run in them because of the stacked heel and the fact that the arch support was a little TOO good/high. Not a bad shoe, but not the shoe for me--definitely not as my running shoes.
