Great shoe for fast runs
The Kinvara is a good shoe for tempo runs and all types of intervals when you do not want a plated shoe. It would likely be a good race shoe as well, although I personally prefer a carbon or nylon plate for racing. The fit is as expected. Breathability is excellent. Wet surface traction is better than average. The upper is very comfortable. Weight is pretty light. Some people use the Kinvara as a daily trainer. I find that it has too much energy return for slow runs. The shoes just want to go fast. They work great at tempo runs, threshold runs, and intervals runs. The Kinvara works best when combined with a slow run shoe (and maybe a race day shoe) in a rotation based on the type run that is scheduled.

Well made, stylish, and comfy!
Bought these for my husband. They are very well made. They are light, but sturdy. They look cool. And they are comfortable!Another reviewer pointed out cutting off the rainbow tag on the heel of the shoe. We support people who choose the rainbow as an icon for their lifestyle and it might be true that the designer of this sneaker used the rainbow in solidarity with those causes, but the rainbow 🌈 has also long been associated with leprechauns and pots of gold that sit at the end of the rainbow just waiting for us humans to find the End of the Rainbow and gather up their newfound wealth! Either way—the rainbow is staying on my husband’s sneakers. We recommend the sneaker if you want something light, comfy, well-made, yet also sturdy.

Best shoes I've owned in a long time
Probably since I bought my last pair of Saucony! Let me begin with the long list of praise... They are light weight. Very comfortable. The traction is incredible. I work in a restaurant and wear no slip shoes.. these are better at not slipping than my work shoes which are very good. Love the color, I get so many compliments it's ridiculous. Bottom line... I love them to death and recommend them to anybody who is looking for way above average footwear! Saucony is the real deal!

Light weight. Buy wide if you need wide. outer-sole is mostly foam and wears quickly.
Pros:- The shoe is light.- Semi-wide cut, but you will still need EE width for wide feet- Seems to breathe wellCons:- The sole of the shoe is mostly foam, rather than Vibram, or other durable rubber. This means sidewalks and roadways will wear the material much quicker than most shoes. I am 250 lbs and have shoes with 450+ miles on them that are just beginning to wear through the rubber outer sole. These have maybe 50 miles and already show significant wear.- Possibly best suited for indoor/treadmill work, due to soft sole material. For a deep enough discount, I might buy the shoes again. But I am now looking for a similarly light and wide shoe with more durable ground contact material.

The BEST Kinvara of all time
The Kinvara 13 is hands down my favorite Kinvara since the Kinvara 5. These are a bit softer underfoot compared to the Kinvara 12. I will be stocking up on these for sure. Here's how the Kinvara's compare to each other.Kinvara 13- toebox wider than most shoes, but not as wide as Kinvara 12 or Saucony Triumph 13- runs half size large- softer underfoot than Kinvara 12- not as soft underfoot as kinvara 11- quiet shoe / no squeaking when walking like Kinvara 11- a tad bouncy, medium rubber feel underfoot. Very comfortable- neutral / flat shoe- Comfortable for 5 hours of walking- 100 degree weather, no sweat- Premium materials- heel is perfecy snug, not sloppy- laces are average- tongue is paper thin and breathable.- No hot spots anywhere in the shoe.- Ankle does not rub.Kinvara 12- widest toe box- most breathable Kinvara- Decent walking shoe- runs 1/2 size large- 100 degree weather, no sweatKinvara 11- squeaky when walking- softest Kinvara underfoot- padded tongue- not as breathable- true to size- 100 degree weather, foot gets sweaty
