Nice fit, comfortable. Great on trail runs.
I have narrow feet and these shoes fit perfect (size 7.5, my normal size). Tight but not too tight around the middle of my foot with lots of room for my toes without looking like I have duck feet. No slippage on the heel. The shoes are well made and ready to wear right out of the box. Walked around in them for 2 days just to break them in before taking them out on a long hike and I had no issues with them other than a small hot spot under my ankle bone. I was a bit worried about that but that area of the shoe seems to have quickly softened up after wearing them a lot over the last 48 hrs.I bought these shoes specifically for hiking and backpacking and their big test came yesterday on a 20 km day hike in what turned out to be heavy rain. The shoes performed great going up and down the mountain on slick surfaces and through mud. Nice sticky grip on the soles, good stability on rocky, uneven surfaces. Just the right amount of padding for comfort. Feel very light on your feet. At the end of they day, they cleaned up nicely and the materials held up well to the conditions.I'm very impressed and will definitely be buying another pair or three, four, five...
Very good … fit well and look great
Comfortable shoes well made.
Excellent grips and lightweight
Reasonable price. High quality. Beautiful color and design. Feel great.
My first trail shoe. I read a lot of reviews and comparisons and picked this brand and model as it had the most positive reviews. The soles are durable and grip rocks and earth nicely. I switched to trails and was running with road shoes. I constantly slipped on leaves and mud, and slid going on hills, requiring me to pick my way down to avoid stumbles and falls.Wearing these, first thing I noticed was more intense use of my quads and calfs which I attributed to the lower drop. Took some getting use to. The traction is great, but the soles are kind of hard and the padding provides little comfort. The shoes are not painful at all, but just not comfortable (if that makes sense). However you can feel the surface without sharpness of stones coming through. The soles are narrow, which makes foot placement accurate, but also results in more ankle roll when landing unevenly on an unseen rock hidden in fallen leaves.I typically run 4 to 10 miles through technical trails, lots of sharp rocks, very uneven terrain, and these have made these runs much more efficient. I run faster and slip and fall a lot less. These may be the best trail shoes ever, but I will try another model next time to find out.Update after 2 years useI think it took about a year before they became comfortable, and then I wore them almost constantly.I put many, many miles on these shoes and they have worn out, but it took awhile. Now I wear them around the house and yard, but not running as the sides opened up and allow dirt, twigs and rocks to enter.
