Dependin on the color....

Depending on the color,... these shoes look good. The shades make the shape look diff! Not as comfy as my Brooks hiking/trail running shoes; less padding and width. With under pronation, you may be more likely to role your ankle as compared to wider Brooks. Also, while my left shoe fits fine, the right is tighter.... Im a 10.5 mens, but sometimes an 11, with say, Asics. After 2 weeks, of solid wear, these are not broke-in but.....tighter?!? I prob should have got an 11.Oh, did I say, I like the tread and style.....depending on the color..Follow up...2 month later Sept 2024: The rear heel has little cushion response and the insole is flat.ive worn them.....10×?. The shoe is not roomy, if purchased I suggest a wide or .5 size bigger. Lug grip is good. I noticed the shoe is much narrower than my Brooks trail, and does tend to roll (under pronation) on uneven ground. Shoe is also distorting on the front lateral aspect where it tends to roll. MAYBE I would try a wide or .5 size bigger, BUT disappointed with the stiff sole. Not at all like walking on a cloud....Like my bulky-looking (although light) Brooks.

Great for grass volleyball

I was looking for shoes I can wear for grass volleyball. It's hard to tell how trail running shoes do with aggressive lateral movements; the worst feeling is when your feet slip inside the shoes, like when the upper mesh is stretchy or they're too wide. I also have some Lone Peaks, which are great for running and walking but terrible for grass volleyball due to the wide toe-box (I guess if you have wide feet, they may work for you, but I have average width, closer to narrow). I was also worried about rolling my ankle, so I wanted something with a lower stack height (these have 28mm at the heel and 24mm at the toe). I also have the Speedcrosses and although I haven't rolled an ankle, I've been close several times. I've found the Peregrine top notch on both accounts. I also like the big lugs on the outsole, they help prevent slipping and have good traction with some moisture in the grass. This is my second pair of Peregrines. Cheers!

Sharp looking shoes

These have a nice high tech style and feel, very comfortable. I sat across the aisle from a guy on a flight from Boston to Phoenix and he was wearing them. I admired them for quite a while before complimenting them and asking where he found them. He got them at REI, but I was able to find them on Amazon.I actually went through 3 pairs of them - once I find a shoe I like, I tend to stick with them a while. One thing I didn’t like is that in my old Ford truck (1982 300 straight 6), I have to lift the clutch pedal up sometimes with my toe and there is grease or dirt or something under the pedal which left a stain on the toe of these shoes. Twice? So I wear different shoes to drive my truck now and my third pair of these shoes still looks crispy.

Good fit, and enough cushioning for trail running

This shoe has enough traction and cushioning for the gravel & dirt trails I run. It fits as expected as I know the fit of other Saucony's I wear for flat surfaces. Snug lacing.

Great traction, light weight

These are excellent, neutral trail shoes. Not much drop and not a lot of extra cushioning. They are quick and good for racing. The traction is about the best of any trail shoe. Holds well in mud. No slipping. The run a big large. I normally wear size 13 running shoes in all other brands. For these, the size 13 was too big. I ordered size 12.5 and it is perfect.
