Simple yet effective
I am a simple kind of man, so, these shoes are simply satisfying. Slightly stylish as well. Maybe that's what the "S" on the side is for. Regardless of speculation, I will enjoy my four mile walks to work, in the morning, with these kicks. The fit is perfect. They are lightweight, breathable and the tread on the bottom is a nice touch. Who doesn't like triangles !? The tread pattern seems to add a little spring to my steps and will provide some traction for varying weather as well as slippery or muddy surfaces. They will probably clean up pretty easy but at this price, I won't feel too bad running through the rain or dirt.

I love these sneakers
I love these sneakers. They are a perfect fit, they are extremely comfortable and they look good. I have a bad left foot. I ruined my big toe playing soccer. It is larger and less flexible than my right toe. In general my left foot is bigger than my right but the toe just exaggerates this. So, it is very difficult for me to find shoes of any type that are comfortable for both of my feet. These shoes fill the bill. I have gradually gone through many brands of shoes and I have finally settled on Saucony. In general they seem to be the sneaker that works the best for me. But this particular style works extremely well. I will definitely buy these again when this pair wears out. I would recommend them to anyone.

Classic shoe
These are some of my favorite shoes i have ordered off amazon. They are very true to their size. I wear a mens 9 and sometimes shoes are a little to big. These fit like a glove. There is a little support but would need insert for people with foot problems. They are great for walking, going to the gym or as an everyday shoe. They do make you feel a little bit taller which i like alot. Well built to last.

An affordable and comfortable upgrade over my Ride 6's
I bought a pair of Saucony Ride 8 to replace pair of Ride 6's that I have had several years. Contrary to another review on Amazon, underpronators need highly cushioned shoes, so the the Saucony Ride series is highly recommended for underpronators. I jog short distances and I walk and stand a lot. I am an underpronator when I run or walk and the Ride 8's amazing cushioning prevents ankle and lower leg pain just as effectively as the Ride 6.The Ride 8 has a lot of cushioning and feel like I'm wearing pillows on my feet even if I'm jogging on pavement. The men's 8 is also wide enough to accommodate my ladies size 9 to 9.5 wide foot, which means the shoe fits true to size. I also love the fabric of the Ride 8 because it it thicker with better reinforcing fibers but it still breathes well, so it seems like the upper will be much more durable than the mesh-covered thin nylon of the Ride 6. The color section is also fun, not that color really matters when it comes to getting a comfortable shoe.The one thing I don't like is that the Ride 8 does not seem to have as much mid-foot support as the Ride 6. The earlier model had a visible piece of plastic that made the shoe a little stiffer through the mid-foot area. The Ride 8 does not have a visible mid-foot support system. If Saucony moved the mid-foot support system inside the midsole, then it doesn't work as well as it did when it was visible. As a result of the differences in mid-foot construction, it took a few days of wear for the Ride 8 to feel as good as the Ride 6 felt when it was new. After that brief break-in period, I love the Ride 8 as much as I loved my Ride 6's. I am keeping my eye on prices to by a second pair of Ride 8's in a another color just so I have an extra.
