Excellent Running Sneaker

As a 6'0" 200-pound runner logging 1.5-hour, 8.5-mile treadmill sessions every other day, I sought a comfortable and supportive shoe for long distances. The Saucony Triumph 21 delivered exactly that.Comfort: This shoe lives up to its "unlimited comfort" claim. The PWRRUN+ cushioning is incredibly plush, providing excellent impact absorption during my long runs. My feet felt remarkably fresh even after logging significant mileage.Toebox Space: I have a long index and wide front of my font, most shoes fell a little crammed and this can be a problem for running 5+ miles due to blisters from scrunched toes. This is not a problem with these sneakers, there's plenty of room in the Toe box, no problem with blisters, my toes are comfortable.Support: While neutral runners, the Triumph 21 offered sufficient support for my moderate pronation. The streamlined upper and redesigned lacing system provided a secure and comfortable fit, preventing any slippage during my runs.Performance: The Triumph 21 felt surprisingly responsive for a max-cushioned shoe. I experienced a good balance of energy return and comfort, allowing me to maintain a consistent pace throughout my runs.Durability: I've been consistently impressed with the durability of the Triumph 21. The upper materials have shown excellent resistance to wear and tear, and the cushioning has maintained its plushness even after numerous runs.Overall: I highly recommend the Saucony Men's Triumph 21 to fellow long-distance runners, especially those seeking a balance of comfort and performance. The plush cushioning, supportive fit, toebox space, and impressive durability make it an excellent choice for high-mileage training.

Great running shoes

Very good for a neutral runner. I got this particular pair as I am not as light as I used to be (215 lbs) and it holds up to the pounding without pain or discomfort in my knees and joints. I am loyal to the Saucony brand and they did not disappoint with this pair. Don't feel heavy, fits as expected and very comfortable to log miles in.

Nice running shoe, fits well and comfortable.

Very happy with this shoe. It replaces another (nameless) brand who changed their fit and I happily had this shoe recommended. Background: Large runner, size 13. Do triathlons.I got my first pair on recommendation and am perfectly happy. They fit true to size and are comfortable. Cushioning is good. Quite happy. So all around positive, no complaints.Last test was being a triathlete, I train without socks. Don't judge, what I do saves me about 2 minutes in transitions and there's no time to put on socks. So are there hot spots that cause rubbing? NO! Perfect. I know it's not much but for other triathletes who do the same, no hot spots. I actually ordered a 2nd pair and similar, no hot spots. So very happy with this shoe.

Comfort Meets Durability

As a dedicated runner for over two decades, logging about 700 miles annually at a steady 9:30-10:30 minute per mile pace, I’ve always emphasized longevity and health in my running routine over speed and competition. This approach has led me through a diverse array of footwear from top brands like Nike, Brooks, Asics, and New Balance. Recently, I reached the 200-mile mark with the Saucony Men's Triumph 21 and felt compelled to share my insights, especially in comparison to its predecessors and rivals. The Triumph 21 showcases a notable improvement in Saucony's already impressive lineup, particularly with its PWRRUN+ technology. The shoe’s sockliner provides exceptional shock absorption and stability, a critical factor for runners who, like me, value knee and ankle protection above all. The cushioning is noticeably thicker and more responsive than in the Endorphin Pro 2, offering a luxurious underfoot feel that pampers yet supports through long distances.I opted to enhance this experience by replacing the original insole with an aftermarket version featuring robust arch support. This modification, while personal, significantly improved the overall support and comfort—something to consider if you're facing similar biomechanical needs. Note that opting for a half size larger may be wise to accommodate thicker insoles without compromising fit.Performance-wise, the Triumph 21 excels on flat surfaces such as treadmills and paved roads, providing a stable and cushioned ride. However, its prowess on asphalt doesn’t translate as well off-road, where the shoe’s generous cushioning can hinder stability on uneven terrain. This is something potential buyers should consider based on their primary running environments.A word on purchasing during sales events like Prime Day: be wary of price inflations prior to supposed discounts. My experience revealed that the "discounted" price was nearly equivalent to the regular price post-hike—a common sales tactic that shoppers should be aware of.Beyond the shoes, maintaining injury-free running isn't solely about the gear. It’s equally crucial to engage in proper pre-run stretching, maintain correct running postures, and perform post-run stretches. These practices, combined with a healthy lifestyle, are the true backbone of sustainable running. The Saucony Men's Triumph 21 is a solid choice for runners who prioritize cushioning and stability. It's particularly well-suited for road runners looking for a shoe that marries comfort with durability. As with any running shoe, personal preferences and specific needs play significant roles in the overall experience, but for those whose requirements align, the Triumph 21 is likely to be a rewarding investment.Happy and healthy running to all!

Amazing Energy Return

My first Saucony running shoe and so far so good!I've been bouncing around (pun intended) from brand to brand over the years to see what works best for me.For reference I'm 6'2 around 280lbs, played high school football. This is just my experience but I've owned Hoka Clifton's, Altra Escalante OG's, Altra Paradigms, Asics Gel Cumulus, Xero shoes etc. and none of those had the kind of bounce and energy return with these Triumph 21's. The build quality also holds up far better than the Hoka's and Altras that I had, the outsole on those got worn down far easier.Granted my running form has changed and (I hope) improved over the years, so I should revisit some of the other brands in the future.I like the foot shape of the Altra's so I went with a wide version of this shoe to best mimic the toe space.Nothing to complain about with the Saucony so far! Laces are nice and long, upper material is comfy and the ride is plush for a heavier guy like myself.
