Great value, solid training shoe
Have used various Saucony shoes for years for short-distance, track workouts, and marathon training and marathons. Had never heard of these until I saw positive reviews on a few running shoe review websites, so I bought these (version 2) at a discount on a whim to see if they lived up to the hype. Yes, they do. While I would not race in them (probably going with Endorphin Pro 3 next event), they are indeed a solid training shoe. In fact, they got me out the door and allowed me to complete a long run during a week when I had a little flare of PF in the ball of one foot. The high, curved/rolling toe and firm, snappy toe-off provided enough help with transition that the PF was not an issue on a hilly training course. They naturally propel you forward, so I was not overworking my PF. And to my surprise, they do quite well on hills. I was worried about the low 4mm drop on my calves and Achilles since I usually run in shoes that have about an 8mm drop, so I took out the factory insert and replaced it with a SuperFeet insert that has a little more lift and a touch of medial support. Maybe not necessary because they're fairly stable shoes for a neutral shoe, but for peace of mind and prevention. I felt good at the end of the run, no issues, no additional irritation to my PF. Even my quads felt a little less beat up than usual. They're in my rotation now. Solid shoe, two thumbs-up.

Slippery when wet
Bought these to replace a previous pair of Saucony running shoes with the PWRRUN sole. Sadly, with the previous pair, the tops were perfect, but the sole just started to disintegrate (all lateral tread on right shoe was gone). Those were 11W that I bought from Going Going Gone. They lasted about 11 months but I should have replaced sooner. This pair looks somewhat identical, however the sizing is crazy different. Another person said the 11 feels like a 10.5 narrow. I agree. I bought a 10.5 and could barely walk in it. The 11 felt much better, so I stuck with it, thinking that an 11.5 would be too long. Not sure why they do not offer this in a wide version, but I wish they did. I only use these for outdoor walks, average about 100 mi/month. They are still comfy for the most part, but because they are tight, my toes get cold in colder weather (20-40 deg F). One word of caution. The dark tread portion of the sole is much firmer or harder that the previous pair I bought, which hopefully means it will last, however, if the surface outside (concrete, asphalt, etc) is quite damp to wet, these sneakers become very slippery and have nearly zero grip. On a positive note, like the previous pair, they are very lightweight.

Worth the 65$ I paid!!
These running shoes are fantastic! They’re lightweight, breathable, and have just the right amount of cushioning for long runs. The support is excellent, and I’ve noticed less fatigue in my feet and knees since switching to them. The grip on the soles is solid, even on wet pavement, and they feel very responsive with each stride. Plus, they look great and fit true to size. Whether it’s daily training runs or casual wear, these shoes deliver comfort and performance. Highly recommend for any runner!

Great Soft and Comfortable
I recently purchased the Saucony Men’s Axon 2 Running Shoe, and I am very impressed with its performance. These shoes offer a great combination of comfort, support, and durability, making them ideal for running and other athletic activities. One of the standout features of the Saucony Axon 2 is its cushioning. The shoe is equipped with a responsive midsole that provides excellent shock absorption, which has helped to reduce the impact on my joints while running. The cushioning is also lightweight, which adds to the overall comfort of the shoe. The upper of the shoe is made from a breathable mesh material that helps to keep my feet cool and dry during workouts. The material is also flexible, allowing for natural movement of the foot while running. I appreciate that the shoe provides ample ventilation, as it helps to prevent my feet from overheating, especially during longer runs.In terms of support, the Saucony Axon 2 does not disappoint. The shoe features a supportive heel counter that helps to keep my foot in place while running, reducing the risk of injuries. The shoe also has a secure lace-up closure that allows for a customizable fit, ensuring that my foot stays stable and supported throughout my run.Durability is another strong point of the Saucony Axon 2. The outsole of the shoe is made from a durable rubber material that provides excellent traction on a variety of surfaces. I have found that the shoe holds up well to regular wear and tear, making it a great investment for long-term use.Overall, I highly recommend the Saucony Men’s Axon 2 Running Shoe to anyone in need of a comfortable, supportive, and durable running shoe. Its cushioning, breathability, and support make it an excellent choice for runners of all levels. Whether you’re hitting the pavement or the trail, the Saucony Axon 2 is sure to provide a comfortable and enjoyable running experience.

Sizes are different
Good comfortable shoe, great for long shifts at hospital and workouts. But for some reason the sizes are different from other running shoes, because the 11 Saucony feels more like a 10.5 narrow.
