I really like these shoes. Lately I have found it very hard to find a decent, comfortable and wide walking shoes. These are my first Saucony shoes and I love them. The fit was perfect and after a brief break in very comfortable as well. These are the most comfortable walking shoes I've had in years.
I put these shoes on and new immediately they were the right ones for me. I've worn New Balance for years but lately the quality and fit have changed greatly so I begun searching for better fit and performance. I walk around 8 miles per day outside so both are very important to me. Along with the distance traveled per day I have supination issues which make most shoes impossible to wear after a short period of time as the soles breakdown to my unnatural step. I've been wearing the Saucony Echelons now for more than a month and couldn't be happier with them. They fit my natural step in a way which allows me to feel my entire foot on the ground with each step and have not shown signs of breakdown in the sole, the wear pattern is pretty even across the sole. With that I have no pain or discomfort from my feet to my lower back which I had with the New Balance. They also provide a very nice cushion. Overall I am quite pleased with these shoes and recommend them to anyone with similar issues.
The Saucony Men's Echelon Walker 3 Walking Shoes are very comfortable and provide great support for long walks, but unfortunately, they didn’t fit my wide feet as well as I’d hoped. The shoes have a nice, cushioned feel and are very durable, but I found them a bit snug in the toe area.That said, they’re still a solid choice for anyone with regular feet or looking for supportive walking shoes. If you have wide feet like me, you may want to try them on in person first or consider a different model. Overall, I’m happy with the shoes, just not the best fit for me.
I use these shoes for walking and occasionally I'll have a burst of energy and run a little. They are well made, durable, supportive, and comfortable. Male, age 70.
Bought a black pair of these shoes last year for the winter months. Just bought a white pair - arrived today and I ordered yesterday. Great shipping from Amazon. The shoes come in a sturdy box from their company in an Amazon plastic mailer. Just like the black ones I ordered previously the new pair are perfect. The fit is just right and the shoes are very well cushioned for comfort, like walking on air. The material is light not rigid but has just enough give to cushion the feet without being too tight. However, if one wears socks then i suggest ordering one size up.The shoes hug the average walking surface (i.e. the sidewalk) well and should not be a problem even on wet or damp surfaces. They hold the ground well so slipping is not an issue - just don't wear these in the winter with snow on the ground. As far as cost they are not cheap but I believe the quality is well worth it.
These have a nice wide front end, which is very good for my old feet. I previously purchased a pair in white. They have been outstandingly durable and comfortable. Even the laces have held up great. If you can live with not being stylish and you find a good fit, then you will amazed with this shoe.
