Great shoe
I bought this shoe for overall street and trail shoe for vacation. Used to hike 8-10 miles per day in both sightseeing in city environment (hard concrete) and on hikes in wet rocky and boggy environments in northern Scotland. Many hikes in wet weather. Fit was excellent. Very comfortable. Feet stayed dry. The tread on the sole provided good grip on damp stone stairs in castles and on steep rocky slopes and beaches. I love these shoes and looks forward to putting them to good use on other adventures.

I love these shoes!
I do some adventure racing, running and walking. Have worn another brand for years but wanted gortex and these were on sale for a really good price. I knew Saucony was a popular brand with a good reputation but mostly just purchased these just to try out during a vacation in Europe that involved a lot of walking, cobblestones, uneven surfaces and potential for rain. Turns out, these are the best shoes I've ever bought. Straight from the box they fit perfectly (I always half size up to accommodate foot swell after long use days) with no break in at all. I also walked through torrential rain and puddles and my feet stayed perfectly dry. Still felt comfortable after 10 days of daily use and lots of walking. Lightweight shoe but with grippy soles. I can't say enough good things about this shoe, this will be my brand from now on.

Excellent trail shoe but the sole material wears out way too fast for the money
This is maybe my 11th straight pair of Saucony running shoes and the third of the Peregrine generations I've purchased. I suppose because it's a trail shoe, the material used in the sole cleats/knobs is very soft and wears out super easily if you run with these on a treadmill, sidewalks or streets. For the price, that's just not acceptable. The same holds for the non GTX (non Gore-Tex) version as well. The previous Peregrines had a slightly different composition and bigger/thicker knobs on the soles so they wore out much slower.Long story short, if you plan to use these only on unpaved trails, they're great and water resistant. If you are thinking about road running, while they're very comfortable (thus making you want to use them often) they're going to wear out really, really quickly.

Comfortable and functional
I like the regular peregrine trail runners, so I purchased these for a trip to a wet area. They fit a bit snugger, but no less comfortably. They also kept my foot dry during rain and damp/coastal walks. They dried out quickly after an unintended submersion in a creek that turned into a river during down pour. I wore them for many miles without discomfort.

Great hiking sneaker that is comfy
I walk trails everyday and I needed a supportive shoe that is good for muddy trails and for keeping my feet dry. This pair is comfy and water resistant with enough tread to gain traction to prevent slipping. Super comfy!

Color is off
Fit was ok but not that comfy. And the color in the picture looks orange but the one I got had pink accents. Not a pretty pink.

Not impressed
I'm a Saucony fan and have owned at least 5 pairs. These were my first trail runners and I was not thrilled. It honestly felt like I got a knock-off pair of shoes. They fit tighter than all my other pairs of the same size. It was like the toe box was smaller than all the other pairs and left me with very sore toes on my longer trail runs. The grip was good and so was the waterproofing but just not very comfortable. Ended up returning and replacing with Saucony Excursion TR16 GTX. These fit much better so I'm very glad I switched!
