Built for Ultras—Comfort, Grip, and Durability
One of the best trail running shoes I've ever owned. Perfect for long runs—I’m planning to wear them for my next ultra. They feel sturdy without being heavy, and after 100 miles on rocks, dirt, grass, and mud, they still look almost new (I do have to say that I take good care of them as well, I rinse them as soon as I finish running to try to keep the materials as fresh as possible). The durability seems excellent. Super comfortable on technical descents, with a solid grip on steep climbs. I’ll definitely be buying another pair in the future.

Great dry-weather trail shoe
I bought this as a second pair before they change them! Soft tongue does not put too much pressure on metatarsal which is unusual and very welcome since I have no fat (i.e., natural padding) on mine. Heal cup is a little shallow so it does not really impinge on the Achilles tendon which was a welcome lucky accident having had some issue with one of mine.Insole support adequate. Lacing pattern is very good and adjustable for metatarsal and accommodation for medium or narrow feet (like mine). Not at all waterproof so winter running needs some very warm socks to compensate and may be a problem for long runs in weather (> hour).Only criticism is the sole which is fine in terms of grip but pales in comparison to the original Vibram ones. They wear rather fast in comparison and, with my mild supination, that wear is uneven so I only use these on the trail to slow it. Just my short walk to the woods has resulted in a noticeable yaw in the shoe when not on dirt after about 6 months on the first pair. My original Xodus soles wore evenly until the delaminated after years of wear with the Vibram soles.Overall though, probably the best trail running shoes I have ever purchased.

50k Comfort
Excellent shoe- I switched from Hoka as I wanted added cushioning, a more aggressive tread, and more breathable shoe. (all subjective to the user, of course).I’ve used them on multiple training trail runs and a 50k ultra in the Colorado mountains. Tread is holding up well, plan on wearing them on the Colorado Grand Mesa 55k in July. The shoe has plush cushioning which I require and appreciate for long runs. The tread is without question the best I’ve experienced in trail shoes. The shoe is extremely breathable for those hot days, the fit is perfect for my feet. The shoe is very light weight and the appearance is attractive as well! I will definitely buy again.

Excellent Shoe for Ultra Marathon
This is my second pair of these shoes. My first pair is still in excellent shape after about 200 miles. I recently ran a 55K Trail race and they performed and felt excellent, even running through mud and rain. Bought my second pair just to have them before they sell out. I normally wear a wide shoe, these have a roomy comfortable toe box. Rock plate is excellent for the trials we have in Arizona. Very comfortable fit for long runs or even speed work on trails.

Excellent shoe for running and hiking
There are my road and off road running and hiking shoes. They work great for narrow, high volume feet. The sole got a bit torn up by some sharp granite but they are still going ok for non-rocky outings. Eventually I will replace them with another pair of Xodus.
