We got these after reading a lot of reviews for outdoor running shoes. Our kid was doing a new running club and having heel pain in other shoes. These have been great- easy on, no fuss and soles have held up well through trail running and every day activity. Some of the mesh is starting to fray a bit, but not wear through, and no issues with the tightening mechanism. Overall kind of ugly but have been a huge hit and very functional for our kid.
....for cycling. I also venture by foot when I come across interesting wooded trails and these are okay for that as well. Female who wears kid sizes here. Usually an 8.5 in women's and the big kid 6.5 fit well, 7 too big
My son loved these so much that I bought him a size up when he grew. Still his favorite at 8yo
My son loves them. They are comfortable with good tread for traction.The downside... He's never going to learn to tie his shoes.
These shoes are great in theory. My son has liked them because they are easy to put on and take off without fumbling with laces. However, the tightening device on the side has broken after about 5 months of wear and has gotten jammed quite a few times. This product does not seem to be made for active kids who run and jump and play a lot.
Bought these for my son. They fit as expected. He loves them and the boa lacing system they have.
My son loves these shoes and his friend has a pair as well.
