Great running shoe
This is my third pair of the Freedom ISO's. The first two I made the mistake of ordering in my regular Nike size 9 and they were way too small. I highly recommend ordering up 1/2 your regular size. But DAMN, these shoes are hella comfortable. I have walked minimum ten miles multiple days with no feet pain or blisters, it's literally like walking on pillows. My one and only complaint is that when I use these for cross training classes (think lunges,) my heal slips out. These shoes aren't too big because my toe is literally at the end of the shoe, I just think maybe the heal is a little on the wide side. I think maybe if I wear less slippery socks it may help. Even with this, I will order these again because they are simply the most comfortable tennis shoes I've owned to date. PS: I paid over $100 for these at a sporting goods store so when I found them for $58 I was pretty happy!!

Best for wide toe box. Comfortable.
This has been my go to running/walking shoe for many years. I like the wide toe box.

These Shoes Saved My Legs
I owned a pair of Under Armor shoes prior to getting these and they killed my legs. No support made doing any kind of running difficult. My husband took me to get my feet sized and they recommended these (they had them in the running store too, however, they were cheaper on here than there). Almost instant change. I was running longer distances with minimal to no pain the following day, and I was able to hike an 11 mile hike with him and even left him in the dust (we had previously made the hike with the Under Armor shoes and I was struggling to keep up with him). I have a wide foot and tend to pronate, these were the perfect shoe for my foot, and they fit amazing!I recommend getting your foot sized prior to buying any kind of running shoes however, being as improperly sized shoes can cause multiple issues with your feet, like ingrown toenails and just all around uncomfortable shoes. Also, I wear insoles with my shoes just for extra cushioning since I work on my feet all day.

Nice cushioned shoe but size up when ordering!
I've been running in Saucony shoes for many, many years, starting with the Cohesion until I changed to the Triumph several years ago. I've always run in a size 7.5M for both regardless of model year and they have all fit well. A couple of the Cohesion models ran a bit smaller but I was still able to run in my usual size. The Freedom runs about 1/2 size smaller and is also a bit narrower overall. For comparison, see the pics comparing it to the various Triumph models--the blue/white is the Triumph ISO 4, the stone color is the Triumph ISO 5, the black is the new Triumph 17, and the navy/mint green is the Triumph ISO 3. All of the Triumph shoes are a size 7.5M but the Freedom is a size 8M. I sized up 1/2 size based on reviews and am glad I did. I also waited until the end of the day to try these on when my feet are presumably the "biggest".I usually wear the Balega Hidden Comfort cushioned socks when I run but I tried the Freedom on with the Hidden Contour version. The fit was snug but not tight. I still have a thumbnail width from the tip of the toe box. If I planned on running anything over 6 miles in these, I would probably swap them out for an 8.5M just to be sure. Or maybe even a 7.5 or 8 wide! Side note, the shoe has good cushioning but it's not as cushioned as the Triumph. I bought these primarily for the 4mm drop so I have that in my rotation.Bottom line: I would highly recommend sizing up at least 1/2 size from your usual Saucony size. For example, if you normally wear a size 7.5 in another Saucony version, try the 8. I can only speak for the Triumph and Cohesion but I predict these run smaller than most other models.

Comfortable and supportive. Love the shoe string design that helps to give you additional support in the arch!!

Great Shoe but this version as heel slip
I use this shoe for walking, jogging and I tried to use it for gym classes but it's not comfortable for that. This is my 3rd pair of Saucony Guides, but my 1st pair of ISOs. I love the stability but it has heel slip (my previous guides didn't) which is now making my heels sore. I have to do them up too tightly to be able to wear them in classes at the gym so they are no good for that. I wish I could send them back but the window has passed. These fit true to size and have a good size toe box. I also bought the Saucony rides, but had to order a half size larger. The rides are an amazing shoe even though they are neutral, not stability. I would try Guides again, but definitely not this model, but now I have a pair of rides, I would probably just stick with this now as they are also a bit more plush.
