Awesome Shoes
This is the first time I have ordered running shoes from online and I wasn't disappointed. These are super comfortable and extremely lightweight. I wear a 9 in Asics, Brooks, and Mizuno plus I have custom Orthodics. I decided to get these because I've had Saucony before and love this color. I ordered a 9 and they fit perfect, so I'll definitely order again.

Love my Sauconys!
I am very pleased with my Saucony Ride shoes. I have been buying this brand since 2007, when I started running half marathons. They do run a little small, but I noticed this from the first time I bought them. I normally wear a 9W, but I have to get a 9 1/2 W in Saucony. They are very light weight and comfortable. There have been a few of the Ride models that weren't as good as others, but the past 4 yrs they've done well. I don't find the toe gait to be narrow like others have stated, but maybe that's because I get the Wide version. I've tried other running shoes, but have had to take them back. I highly recommend if you're a first time runner getting fitted for a shoes because everyone's feet are different. There's just nothing as comfortable to me as these shoes.

Nice shoe if you can get a good fit
OK, so this review is solely based on fit, not durability or run-ability as I have not ran in them yet. I had been fitted for these a few years ago (Ride 7) and also for the Brooks Ghost 7. I chose the Brooks because I liked the fit/feel better. But I was due for a new pair-beyond due, and saw the price on these and thought I would give them a try. I used the sizing tool on Saucony's website putting in the info that I wear a 7.5w in Brooks and they suggested a 7w in Saucony. I ordered a 7.5w at first. It was much too narrow. They cut in too early in the forefoot making them too narrow/short on the outside of the foot. For the price I thought it was worth the exchange and ordered an 8w. These fit about perfect. Compared them to my Brooks Ghost 7 in size 7.5w and they are about exact in size. So if you wear Brooks order up a 1/2 size. Also be prepared that they run narrow so if you are between a regular and wide order the wides. If the ankle/heel seems loose try the "loop lacing lock" to tighten things up...Not sure if they are as comfortable as the Brooks-the heel/toe drop is slightly smaller so it is an adjustment and may just be a personal preference.Now- for appearance. They are sleek. Wearing a wide shoe you never get to choose the color; they only make wide and narrow in one of the color choices. This seems to be standard across all brands. This pair has a nice color: purple, blue and pink. I don't feel like I got stuck with the "ugly" shoe.

A great shoe, but get a proper fitting from a run-specialty store.
Every running shoe needs proper fitting from a respectable specialty run store. That said, this is a quality shoe for the right foot. For a high arch, add an insert as I don't feel their claim of a high arch is accurate. Other than that, this is among the best high-cushioned running shoes. Decent toe box, great rebounding cushion, some durability, no hot spots I can find. This one is for my daughter for cross-country team training. Absolutely use a high cushion shoe for running on sidewalks as teen team kids do. I use this one for my distance runs training for marathons and they come through for me also. The 8mm drop is helpful.

Terrible Shoe
I really wanted to like these, but I just can't. The area where the laces meet the toe area digs in to the top of my big toe on my right foot. It only hurts for about .5 a mile, then I can't feel it because I think my toes are a little numb. Its pretty weird. The color is great and overall the shoe is light weight and seems to offer my underpronating/high arches the right support. Since I can't return, I will probably just keep them until I can save up for the next pair. I walk about 20-30 miles a week.UPDATE: After 2 days of trying every lacing technique and sock type, I just can not wear these shoes at all. They have left a bruise on the top of my right big toe. I couldn't even keep these for another 2 days to wait for shipping, so I had to bite it and buy new shoes (asics) at the store. If you buy these on Amazon, wear them around your house for a day or two, walk, squat, go up and down stairs, whatever to make sure they don't end up pinching. Mine felt ok at first, but are now extremely painful...well the right one anyway, the left is fine. Terrible shoes (for me).

Awesome Shoe!
I LOVE these shoes. They have made a huge difference in my running. These are my first pair of Saucony. Previously, I have run in Nike and Adidas, which were just okay. I read some reviews on here that said this specific show was small in the toe box, however, I found that it was just the right fit for me. When I first wore them, I found that they were a heavier than my other shoes, but I got used to it. Over all, I think Saucony is a GREAT brand and will be ordered many more shoes from them again.

I usually wear women's 7 in Nike running shoes and I went with an 8 in these and they fit snug and comfortable. Ba bye Nike
