Orange Submarine! Blasphemy!
Sour-Cony on the color! McCartney would not be pleased. Definitely NOT YELLOW! Like some other reviewers have said, these sneakers are Minute Maid juicy orange! as are the, not even trying to be yellow, (it's good to be yellow) matchy-matchy laces! The laces show this is intentional. Not that they look bad or anything.... if you like orange....and you bought orange.... they are just not the zippy yellow Icraved from the images on Amazon. Boooo!... Anticipation denied! Also, the soles are not pink either like the pictures. They are their own strange shade of orangy with slight pink overtones. I actually looked to see if they sent the wrong color however they do not come in Orange Julius. Maybe that is why they were on sale! (production error?) Since I am not privy to other customers purchases, and there are not a lot more complaints like this, although there are some, (this is NOT a subtle color difference), the $30.00 dollar price tag, and the long shipping delay, I am inclined to go with the production error scenario. I guess there really is no free lunch. In addition, the front uppers are so thin you can see thru them in the sunlight. So much so they arrived with some wrinkles on the sides. This leads me to Question how strong they might be, or how stable they are for a runner (which I am not). Not very " high end", major player, Sauconylike! Since these are not slip-ons, it seems odd there are no heel pull-on loops which would also look better. Now some good stuff! At first blush, these sneakers are comfortable with lots of padding in all the right places except for the skin thin front uppers (more on that later). They have lots of mid sole rise rocker and roller (rock and roll?) and plenty of arch support (all good things). And as it turns out they walk well! (like Abbey Road), But definitely not for cold weather, as they are way too well ventilated, almost like sandals. Good if your feet sweat in the summer, but in winter, the cold blows thru the uppers like the Blue Meanies! In closing, If you don't know "Yellow Submarine" (we all live in a...) ask your grandma! call Ringo. or sub in Minions (not orange either).

These sneakers were a great value for the money. The cushioning in them is soft & firm with great arch support. I liked the fit and design of this style. I felt like they had too much space in the front causing a significant roll forward. This style for that reason weren't the best choice for me. They made it too difficult to walk fast without tripping. However, they are good quality and durable.

The shoe sizing is ok, but I do not enjoy these. My feet are sore in the end of the day. I do not run in them though. I feel that it Iacks support under my forefeet.
