Awesome running shoes, I had a double discectomy because of herniated discs and I was looking for a good sturdy running shoes this ones don’t disappoint, completely satisfied, you get what you paid for, form fit, sturdy, stylish, and comfortable.
I was looking for shoes to run along the shores of Lake Superior and these are perfect. I have had these about a year and they are holding up well. The traction is very good and I really like the tuck-in laces. I went for a run last weekend, after a new snowfall, along uneven terrain. Me shoes were wet, the bottom of my pants were wet, but my feet were dry and I did not slip once. I also run with these in the summer. I can't say I have noticed my feet being any more sweaty with them than I do with other running shoes.
I run and wear Altra running shoes but these have changed me. They have plenty of footbed, so my wide foot is very happy and comfortable. I have to tell you I've just had so much fun wearing these! They look awesome! A clean, bright, new look and they don't look like I'm wearing nurse shoes or bowling shoes. Completely comfortable if you wear a wide shoe these will most likely work for you as they did me. I found the fit just a slight on the generous side but I would still order your normal size. Or if always borderline go to the smaller. This color is gorgeous!!
Hard to slip my foot into shoe, they were too tight on the top of my foot. Haven’t had this problem in the past with Saucony.
I buy this brand because I used to feel comfortable in it and it is not slippery on trails. Well, not with this pair. The soles of the shoes are very hard, and the bottom is not wide enough to make it anti slippery. I regret that I did not return it.
These trail shoes are my absolute favorite. I love the comfort and the grip sole for lots of rocky trails. The rock plate is very sturdy. I am always a big fan of the lacing to tuck in. I have run in many different trail shoes and these are the best.
I do daily hikes with my toddlers. I needed something with an aggressive amount of tread so my 5'3" 130lb self can push 100 lbs of stroller and toddler up a gravel trail steep enough that people coming the other direction can't see me behind the stroller (I've been told it's a very confusing sight). These are perfect. My last pair lasted almost a year of daily use before I wore the tread out so fully that the toe edge was completely flat and I was slipping down the gravel with each step. New shoes, new tread, and I can step with confidence again knowing I'm not about to slide down a hill and get run over by a runaway BOB stroller.
