I LOVE THESE SHOES
I love these shoes. I also have them in black. I need waterproof shoes for work in the winter time. I have a slight tailor’s bunion on my right foot so I have to be careful when buying shoes. Shoes too snug or tight causes me major pain since I’m in my feet most of the day for work. It’s getting worse as I age and gain weight. These shoes however have a perfect toe box and great support with my plantar fasciitis inserts. It has great traction and I really appreciate the stretchy shoelaces. I LOVE that it’s Goretex. It’s hard to find comfortable waterproof shoes since they are less giving. I also wear thick socks since it’s less padded compared to there running shoes. My only con, if there was one, is that the color is much lighter in person than shown in the picture, (which won’t be a con for some.) It’s very bright and cream colored. I thought it was more of a khaki color. These shoes are comfortable, cute and serves its purpose with style. I also wear their Guide 16 almost everyday during the non rainy season. Love those too. BTW it took me several months to get my size (7.5) since they were always out of stock so get it if it’s available in your size.

Great trail shoe!
I love this shoe. I’ve been wearing the Saucony Women's Peregrine sneaker for several “generations” (11, 12, 13) - love all iterations. My “other” running shoe - for roads or well-groomed trails, is usually ASICS Gt2000 or something similar (but always ASICS). I used to only wear Peregrines for hiking or rough trail runs- but then I started rotating in the Peregrines more regularly into daily activities due to the crazy number of rainy days in Los Angeles over the last two years - as I wanted a shoe with more traction on wet surfaces. They’ve grown on me!!! I wear a 9.5 in dress/casual shoes, a 10 in tennis shoes that will be used for roads or flatter trails, and a 10.5 for trail runners that will be used for steeper trail-runs or hiking. It’s hard for me to tell the difference between iterations of the peregrine. These (v13) do seem lighter/more nimble, which is nice for daily jogs. But earlier versions (v11-12) felt sturdier, which is kind-of reassuring on hikes (eg, Mt Baldy… 4000ft elevation gain over 4-mi, and fairly rocky, gravely terrain).I did have an issue with the v12 treads “squeaking” and tearing off on pavement during road runs - v13 hasn’t done that yet…I’ve never needed “break-in” time with any Peregrine. For whatever reason, I found v13 harder to get the lacing tension just right. First few runs required a lot of stopping to re-tie/adjust laces… it’s something to do with the slight updates to the type/style of fabric/mesh uppers. This happened a little with v12, but not at all with v11.In the size 10, my baby toe gets “pinched”/squeezed a little bit more in the v13 relative to v11/12… so I think the footbed narrows a bit at the toe in recent generations (this could also be due to very slight shoe-to-shoe differences in the manufacturing process, and not a uniform design change in v13).

Rugged and grippy
Comfortable, rugged, and grippy. Fit is moderate, neither narrow nor wide. Toes box is fairly roomy. Subtractacting one star because I have to lose the 4mm drop due to needing my arch support insoles. I wish the drop was built into the shoe itself. The insoles it comes with seem nice and comfortable (better than average), but I need more arch support. Has a nice balance between feeling the trail and protection from rocks underfoot. I wish it had a better toe plate cover. Definitely gotten some toe bruises from kicking tree roots and rocks at the top. I guess that's another ding. Nothing's perfect. This is my second pair. My first has gone thru four 50k races plus training, so they hold up well. (Mainly bought this because sometimes, it's nice to throw on a dry pair at mid-race drop point. Iykyk) They do dry out quickly after running thru rivers and streams. They clean up well in the washer to get mud out. Would definitely buy again!

A decent shoe with one big concern
Comfortable overall, good arch support. Nice for moderate terrain.BUT VERY SLICK / LITTLE TRACTION, some fall hazard on wet surfaces like pebbles, leaves, wood bridges, tile floor coming in from rain, etc. For this reason, cannot really recommend and particularly do not recommend as walking shoe for anyone who needs to move quickly post-rain weather and or anyone with a fall risk already.

Women's trail shoes
Fantastic and supportive trail shoes for women. The lightweight shoes offer superior traction in both wet or dry conditions and provides excellent stability to avoid ankle twists. The attractive shoes fit true to size with a tapered fit. Great value for high quality footwear.

Worth every penny
I did some research on the best hiking shoes before making my purchase. Initially, I was a bit skeptical about buying this pair due to its low price. However, I decided to give it a try anyway. To my surprise, I forgot to break them in before my long hiking event. Despite this, I wore these shoes for a total of 27 miles of hiking in one day, and my feet didn't feel any discomfort or pain. The shoes provided excellent support and cushioning throughout the hike. I am very impressed with the quality of these shoes. They are a great buy and worth every penny. I highly recommend this product, especially if you are on a budget and looking for reliable, high-quality hiking shoes.
