Comfortable for 8 months ONLY

After 8 months of loving the comfort of these shoes, and an average of about two miles a day, the area under my forefoot started feeling like loose pebbles everywhere, as if some cushioning layer had hardened and broken up into small pieces. It became especially painful for my toes, and I started developing painful corns on the sides and bottoms of my toes.

20 miles and I’m still happy!

I got these sneakers to hike in the high desert- dusty, sandy, very rocky, steep elevation gains and losses and 9,000-12,000 footers. I have La Sportivas that I use for mountain climbing only, but hikes that are a mix of flatter trail and mountain climbing I need sneakers for. My piriformis acts up if I hike on flat trails with such stiff shoes as the La Sportivas. I tried out 5 other pairs of shoes before deciding to take these on a 4 mile hike to test. 2 miles flat-ish trail and 2 miles climbing. They did GREAT! I then took them on a 7.5 mi hike and an 8.5 mi hike which were mostly mountain hiking and I am quite happy with them. Super grippy climbing over boulders and up rock faces (about 12-15 feet in distance and not the tiniest slip. I was glued to those rocks). I got a blister on the back of my foot on the 8.5 mile hike but that was cuz I didn’t take the time to relace them as I was jogging back down the trail. My bad. These also keep out most of the rocks and dust, surprisingly. I get a few pebbles but when I rub my toes together they aren’t gritty. Such a huge PRO that I can’t tell you. I’m very happy with these sneakers! I did replace the inserts with my own Superfeet but that’s personal preference. I put these inserts into my Docs lol

Excellent Buy - Worth Every Penny!!!

THESE SHOES ARE FIVE-STAR WORTHY!!! The level of support is difficult to find in many athletic shoes and the simplistic gum soles add fashionable flare coupled with the sleek color which goes with everything. The traction and flexibility rank this particular shoe above several pairs of Saucony shoes I already own. This shoe is well made and one of the best I've ever purchased.

Super comfortable and supportive without feeling bulky

These are my new favorite training shoes. I use them on both rugged trails and roads. The upper is soft and supportive. The midsole provides nice cushion and is not bulky. I get a good "feel" for the ground while also feeling supported. They've been great when I've had minor injuries and want some extra cushion, and on long runs.

Too narrow

This shoe looks great. I wanted to like it so badly. It's just too narrow at the forefoot. If it had more room in the toe box it would be wearable. As it is, had to return.
