This is my third pair of affordably priced Saucony’s and the first of their trail/hiking version. I love the secure fit and dirt-resisting sole with lots of grip. I’d love it if the toe box was just a smidge bigger like my Hoka’s, but they are just fine and very comfortable.
Was very excited to get my shoes since the company website sold out. I use mine for running walking and hiking. The seem like the perfect shoe for everything. However there is a few flaws in these shoes. The left one feels a bit more snug than my right and I took a picture of a slight manufacturer flaw. Hope my favorite shoes don't die on me for at least a year 😣. My other pair I've had for 5 years and only has a couple of holes on the upper fabric side due to tree branches and rocks. Like I said, I love this brand of shoes. The only reason I got a new pair is because my husband teases me that I love them too much. Lol Obviously I had to test them and they feel great overall. I love the pull tabs on them which is a great improvement! Also makes it easier to slide in.
In Saucony shoes, for road running, I normally wear Saucony Guides. I need slight stability with a good amount of cushion. I bought these for hiking in Alaska, and they were comfortable right out of the box. The underfoot cushion is plush without feeling like your foot is sinking into the shoe. I also felt like the level of stability was similar to that of the Saucony Guide.
Perfect fit, perfect amount of cushion. My absolute go to for long hikes or backpacking trips! I think I'm on my 5th pair!
overall these are good shoes. I do not like them as much as the original version. They took very little break in time. I would like some more cushioning. I have severe overpronation and they seem fairly stable. My orthotics fit in them easily.
I love these trail runners! Wore them right out the box and they were extremely comfortableNo issues, even tho I had foot surgery 2 months ago. Excellent grip for rough or slippery surfaces. Good toe room.
Great trail shoe except for durability. I've ran just a few times in these and the mesh is already wearing
