These shoes are adorable! They were perfect for my one year old to wear to his dinosaur themed birthday party. The leather is soft and my son seems comfortable in them. He is able to easily walk around in them. They stay on well and even with his chubby feet, they don't seem too tight. When I take them off, his feet look good, there are no red or irritated marks.
Love love love these shoes. So sad that my son is about to grow out of Sayoyo shoes... We use them for everything, indoor and out. They are like little sacks, wide and flexible so that your child's feet can develop normally. They are also durable enough to not worry about any glass or sharp objects your little one may step on. The one tricky part is they're not waterproof, so may get wet interiors when playing outside on rainy days, but it's worth using them for all other occasions. It is so hard to find flexible, wide shoes for kids over 6 months that don't break the bank, and these fit the bill and are durable and super cute to boot.
We love them! I have twin boys and they are learning to walk. These have not inhibited their abilities to walk and they can't pull them off. Now they can pull them off each other, ha ha ha, but that can't be helped. I remember the first time my older kids walked in shoes. They were great walkers and then put shoes on them and they struggled. I have since read it is not good to put them in hard soled shoes for as long as possible. So, this was my first try at these and my twins haven't even acted like they were wearing anything and it hasn't hindered their walking abilities. Read their size chart it is accurate. My 11 month old twins wear size 0-6 months and will be wearing this size for a while. First day wearing these I had them on the boys for 6 hours and no complaints, no marks, and this was their first time wearing shoes; EVER!
Cute! Easy to put on and comfortable
If your baby has chunky feet, these are good! Plenty of room in the toe box, so no pinching. My grandson is almost 10 months and I ordered size 12-18 months because he is a little on the chunky side. Also, he has a pair of 9-12 months Robeez and the elastic that holds them on was too tight and leaving a mark on the top of his foot. I originally was looking for Robeez, but, these were $10 less so I decided to give them a try. He grows so fast he doesn’t wear anything for long. They have stayed on his feet and he has tried to pull them off already. I’m very happy with them. The only drawback is the strong leather smell. I hope that goes away quickly.
Cute design and soft leather shoes. These work well as a first shoe....are easy to put on, yet they stay on well and don't fall off. Baby doesn't seem to mind them on his little feet and they give him another layer of protection as he stands and starts to walk. They are not sturdy, though....but they are a great first shoe.
This was my baby's first shoes, they were a perfect fit for him at 16 months old, and provided the right amount of grip for him to be walking (for the first time) outside. This was also the first time he "officially" walked without cruising around (holding something or someone). They were super easy to put on his feet because of the elastic, the material was thin enough for him to be able to flex his feet as he needed to and feel balanced to the floor, and allowed him to walk (or should I say run) around a park playground all day, being chased. Definitely recommend it to anyone with a baby/toddler looking for some comfortable shoes to walk in. They do make his feet sweat without socks, so we used them with socks.
