I buy a pair of Scarpas about every 10 years when my old ones are finally worn out so this newest design, I really like Scarpa actually engineers their boots to make it a better boot. This is a good one.
My husband only wears these boots now instead of the 10 other pair he has!
SCARPA is generally a great product, I’ve owned and continue to own many of their products. With that said, this boot failed miserably within 30 days of my purchase. I went on two treks with these boots totaling approx 115 miles and the soles completely delaminated. It was like they had dry rotted and just fell apart. I’m returning them and buying Asolo…
The return instructions aren't exactly correct. It is free ONLY if returned in the original box which is either wrapped in paper and tightly taped with the label on the outside OR the original box is placed inside another box for shipment. In either event the original box must be undamaged and cost of wrapping material and labor or a new box being purchased must be paid buy the person returning the boots.Updated 2/15/2022 These are high quality boots. I have used them for many years and thousands of miles.The suppliers of the boots is another story. I have ordered 2 pair and have returned both because they were the incorrect size. Apparently if they don't have the absolute correct size they send something close. Not a good idea for backpacking on rugged terrain.Finally contacted Scarpa directly and they promptly shipped the correct size at the same price.Happy am I. South Walker me2ga99

These boots are very comfortable. I have extremely flat feet and these were recommended by my doctor. I have really liked them. However, this is the second pair whose soles lasted less than a year. Much too expensive of a product for only a years worth of wear.
