Perfect for a beginner
I’m just starting climbing in a gym and these have been wonderful for me. I did order a 6.5/7 when my shoe size is a 6 so they run a little small.

The SCARPA Women's Origin Rock Climbing Shoes are designed specifically for gym and sport climbing, making them a suitable choice for both beginners and experienced climbers. With their low-volume fit and women-specific design, these shoes prioritize comfort while providing the necessary grip to help you develop essential climbing techniques.
One of the standout features of the SCARPA Origin is its flat-lasted construction, which emphasizes comfort without sacrificing performance. This is particularly important when you're spending long hours climbing, as it helps reduce fatigue and discomfort. The unique heel system also plays a significant role in enhancing your overall climbing experience by distributing heel tension evenly, minimizing pressure on your Achilles tendon.

My daughter started developing bunions from her last pair of climbing shoes. The tow box area on these shoes is wide enough to alleviate pressure on her feet and roomy enough for her to wear toe correctors while she climbs. She says they’re very comfortable. I’m also starting a GoFundMe to pay for her to get regular pedicure treatments.
Shoes seem nice but run very small. I sized up and they are still way too small/short.
Good grip, decent durability for a beginner, runs small, good quality shoe
Shoe feels good just walking around the gym and climbing aswell. Was a bit snug at first but stretches nicely and perfect! I went a half size up and it is perfect
I’ve climbed a few times with these shoes already, they’re comfy. My feet aren’t narrow they’re on the wider side of the spectrum and these shoes seem to accommodate that. I just started climbing a little over a month ago and so far so good with these shoes, I recommend them.
If you have a kid who likes climbing, you know the dilemma of that donut hole age when they're outgrowing cheap kid's shoes but don't yet fit into adult ones either. So at least for boys this is a good stop gap shoe that has all the intermediate sizings, it's not going to fall apart like most kids shoes do, it's a solid step up from gym rentals performance wise but not aggressive for comfortable all day wear.
