Kitten heel base could be wider.
This kitten heel is very narrow so I am cautious when walking so I don’t accidentally turn my ankle. The heel tread is teeny tiny as well. (See photo). The bottom of the shoe has a small amount of tread. The bed of the shoe has fairly thick comfy padding. The 4 straps do not dig in. The ankle strap is adjustable and comfortable. I use the hole second to last -so that leaves 5 holes to provide more ankle width. These are over all comfy and beautiful but the base of the heel could be more substantial.

Without stocking or with stockings. They are not leather but synthetic.Additionally, the foot bed is hard and does not offer much padding. The existing padding squishes down flat with 1-2 wears. The bottom of the shoe is textured. This helps to prevent slipping and skidding.The style is attractive. The heel is tall enough to elongate my legs. The price of these shoes are affordable. They run true to size except for the straps across the toes. They are tight.I’m thinking maybe I should have ordered a half size up.
