I needed short rain boots for commutes when it's raining, but hate the typical tall style. Adult shoes are incredibly expensive so I always shop kids. I have wide feet in a size 8 women's. These fit perfectly. Honestly, could have sized down a half size - full size as they're still pretty roomy. I'm a sucker for cow print and there's have just enough to make them cute! They easily slip on and off, but stay put while working about. They're comfortable to wear while being in inclement weather but at the end of the day they are rainboots and get uncomfortable after awhile. I've only had them a short time but have worn them about a dozen times. There's no little areas where some water might slip in and they keep your feet very dry. I recommend for adults and children alike.

Recommend sizing up one

Toddler 4.5 years old, wears size 29 barefoot shoes (11 big kid) with room to grow. Ordered size 11 in these boots accidently instead of 12 - here's what I learned.... toddler wears size 11 in vans. These boots fit smaller than regular shoes, but ALSO true to size for thicker boots. They do fit tighter than basic water boots, as they should. Weight is heavier than other rain boots, but still very functional. Came well packaged, no bad smell like other comments. Appear well made. Size up one from regular size. Will reorder size 12 after return.
