Fit is perfect .. Extremely comfortable

Great Mud boots .I wear a size 5.5 shoe but always size 1/2 foot with any boots . I purchased the size 6 and the fit is great with or with out socks . The cushion on these are thus far fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised . They also have at back of heel an area where you can easily kick off each shoe with out affecting the integrity of the heel . Traction seems great . Overall all the construction of the boot seems really good . Now in all fairness , I purchased these because I wanted better quality then the $20ish dollar cheap rain boots that the husband bought me .. so that in itself was an upgrade. Also I’ve only worn them once in my chicken coop after it just finished raining . Now in saying all this I still really am impressed with the warmth, fit ( including around my calves ) the construction, style and ease to put on and off . March is coming and that’s when we get more rain , so I will update review in about a month .

Comfortable & waterproof!

Love these boots! These are great boots & I have worn everyday on our farm since Spring. Being slightly insulated they are a bit warm in summer, but it didn't bother me enough as these are so super comfortable compared to any other rubber boot I have tried. I also did wear them hunting, but would not recommend in extreme cold as the tops of my toes were pretty frigid even with 2 pair of wool socks. The boots are definitely waterproof as I sloshed all around our creek and stook in the water past the rubber, no leaks.

Quality and comfort, should hold up for years

Ignore the “recommended size” which was 3 sizes larger than normal. I did order 1/2 a size larger than normal and still had to return and get a smaller size. These are very wide, I wear a normal width. . The insole and arch support are substantial. The sole is very thick, good for pressing a shovel. I like the neoprene top, as it doesn’t rub your shin like rubber, but wish it was slightly thicker. The calves area is very roomy. With thick wool socks these would work in winter for shoveling. I’m using for gardening mostly. First day I wore them 7 hours and were very comfortable. Quality is good on the soles and hope they don’t spring a leak like my previous “rain boots” in the foot seam.

Great Boots!

I did order size larger than normal because I do wear sock layers in fall/winter...perfect fit! Also, the heel fits snuggly and arch support is good. The room at the top (calf area) allows me to stuff my pants too...Love the color purple
