Great Shoes!
1. Sturdy build & materialsRight out of the box you can tell these are more than playground sneakers. The upper had a tough leather + mesh combo, the toe bumper was solid, and the outsole had a deep‐lug pattern that gave me confidence on dirt trails. Many expert guides highlight that one of the key things with kids’ hiking shoes is durability — for example the review site CleverHiker points out that while many kids outgrow shoes quickly, if your child is active outdoors then “durable shoes matter.”CleverHiker+2Tales of a Mountain Mama+22. Good value for priceFor what you’re getting — decent brand, hiking-specific features, rugged design — the price felt very reasonable. It didn’t have to cost $100+ to deliver the durability we hoped for.3. Trail performanceWe took them on a few hikes (gravel path, some rocks, uneven terrain) and the shoes held up. The grip was good, the child didn’t slide or struggle. The support felt appropriate for a kid’s foot (which is important because, as noted, “hiking shoes and boots are more stable, grippy and reliable than everyday footwear” when kids are scrambling on rocks or roots).CleverHiker+14. Comfort and ease of useDespite being rugged, the shoes weren’t unbearably stiff. The child didn’t complain after a full morning on the trail — no major hotspots, no immediate blisters (though all new shoes need a little break-in). Because kids’ feet are still growing and they need comfort more than ultra-heavy support, that balance matters.

Better than expected. Size down!
Better than I expected. Soft and super comfortable. They run large so size down. I am usually a 6.5 / 7 and the 7 was way too big. Even the 6 is roomy, but perfect with thicker socks. Works well as a non-slip water resistant work boot and easy to clean. I keep them in my car to use when volunteering at the animal shelter.

Sturdy reliable boots
Im on year 2 with these boots and they are so comfy and warm and I love them. I originally bought them to hike with in the redwoods and they held up very well in the rain and I was stepping through small rivers and mud. Took them again this year and they still held on well in the same type of weather. Im so happy I took a chance on these. They are so cute too. I jus wish they had them in tan so I could buy a 2nd pair

No arch support
They're just ok. I got them because they were a really low price. They have zero arch support and because of how they lace up they're little bit stiff to walk in.

Not bad at all!
First day i wore them for work and let me tell you i was surprised lolI always wet my feet a lot so I needed waterproof boots and these definitely helped! They are extremely comfortable! Going on 5 hours and feels like butter still! No need to break these babies in! And I’m always on my feet walking around bending over! They are super warm! They do run alittle big! But I think that’s a good thing, you can use warm socks with these boots because there’s room for them!Definitely worth the money and they are super cute and don’t feel heavy at all at least not to me.

Poor Quality
I haven’t even had these for two weeks and they are completely detached. Even the threading came undone. Feet are always wet. It is NOT slip resistant either.
