Sidi shoes are the bestest.
Got these after trying some Other brand high end shoes that replaced my dominator twos. My dog destroyed one of the other shoes and i decided to go back to Sidi. They fit like my old dominator twos which is to say awesome. They’re very comfortable and stiff. Not the best to waddle in when off the bike but I prefer this style of small, stuff soled shoe. I added to spikes for crawling over roots and in mud.So they fit well and have a nice clear mounting area so clipping in and out is great. They’re not the best on wet stone. I really like the cable retention system-more so than ratchet straps and Velcro. No laces is great.Still well made in Italy. If you’re a sidi fan go for it. If you prefer smaller, less hike a bike type shoes, these will work well. They’ll probably last ten years like my old ones too. Good stuff.

Sidi the best
Sidi MTB shoe is high quality. A 47 is a size 12. If you are a 121/2, get the 48. If you are a 12 but are going to add a custom insole get the 48. Simple. I have owed Sidi shoes for road and MTB and they last for years even with riding everyday in adverse conditions. Got my first pair in 1982. These look sharp and adjust no problem. Adjusting on the go, probably not a good idea with this shoe. If you are racing, get the adjustment right. If you’re not, it won’t hurt to stop and adjust, you will be able to catch up to your other rider(s). These shoes are worth the initial price.

Sidi quality
You get what you pay for. These shoes are light, durable, high quality - and expensive, but worth it. I really like the lacing system as it is very secure (no more Velcro straps popping loose). I wish these had replaceable treads though, but other than that, these shoes are the best. I own another pair of Sidi cycling shoes that I purchased in 1998 that used Velcro straps, and I own a pair of Sidi GoreTex motorcycle boots. Sidi makes excellent products all around.

Not the Sidi Fit I expected
The tread disintegrated on my Sidi Dominators (no number) last month. The originals shoes must have been 17 years old! So I researched current Sidi models . Wow they are expensive!!! The Dominator 10 was almost $200 less than the Tiger and had the new closure system so I bought the Dominator 10. Compared to my original Dominators the 10 is a wider shoe. My originals fit like a glove er shoe, well they fit perfect. I am a 9.5 US. My big toe is at the end of the show where it should be. The 4 stars instead of 5 is for the price. $324 should be the top of the line price. I have only ridden in them once at the time of this review.

Don’t like the boa like dials
I had my old pair for 15 years and was looking to buy same. However, their proprietary boa dials are way inferior to real ones. It’s too complicated to work to tighten and loosen. The real boa dials are so simple to use and why everyone else uses them. I went with shimano shoes instead and so happy with them.

These bike shoes look good, feel good - because…
I always get 1 size larger than my measured feet when getting bike shoes. There is no need to have a “tight fit” for bike shoes, and if they get wet they will shrink a little anyway. Having said that, these fit like a COMFORTABLE glove, the straps adjust perfectly to prevent my feet from swimming around in them, and the black on red matches the colors of my bike. I’m very happy with these.

very nice, returned for larger pair
Shoes are really nice. I accidently ordered the wrong size, but if you go through the Sidi measurement process it proved to be correct. Therefore, I had to return and re-order, which was a very nice process. The second pair were sent 2-day so I could get on the bike right away with the shoes.
