Great for swollen feet

After failing to find extra wide slippers that fit my hubby’s swollen feet, I finally found these. They fit him great and he’s happy with them. The longer center flap makes it easy to get his foot in. There’s plenty of toe space for his wider foot. The Velcro closure is strong and adjusts sizing about an inch. He’s worn them with heavier socks and compression socks. He was able to comfortably wear them outside. Sole is sturdy and nonslip.

Nice quality slippers

Bought these for my 86 yr old father. He has issues with foot and leg swelling, so finding shoes of any kind that fit is challenging. These are adjustable, so that helps with fit. They are made well, but are a bit heavy . So if you are buying for someone with mobility issues that a heavy shoe would limit them, then these are not the slippers for you. That being said, they work great for my dad, and they are well made. Only issue I had with them was the clear bag they were shipped in. I thought that was very cheap and someone could have stolen them by being able to see what was in the bag.

Many bad aspects for my feet

Built in stiffener in back of shoe too stiff for my left foot and hurts my tendon, middle shoe tongue and non-split long velcro-like flaps wouldn't hold my foot down snugly against insole. Too thick of somewhat soft sole (and foam, if used), not sufficiently supportive, for my bottom foot-pressure which is not 100% uniform. I found my old 'Snoozies' (ultra-cheap simple slippers), and my new conventional sensible Rockport Eureka shoes or equivalent came to the rescue -- with a little of my usual padding added. And frankly my attempts to make the Silvert's workable failed, and I'll have to just pitch them and suffer the $$ loss.

Finally a shoe worked.

I have this extremely difficult to fit and please client. When I sent him this shoe, finally, he was happy. It fit perfectly, it was easy to put on and his swollen feet didn't hurt.Wanted another right away.

Too heavy

Much too heavy for my needs, wish they were lighter and longer for my taste.
