I got these for use when Im kayaking. They fit well with neoprene socks and are comfortable. Sadly their add on studs are a waste of time and money as they arent large enough to bite into trees or muddy banks.
My inner cynic didn't think I'd be satisfied with this purchase. My inner spendthrift didn't want to pay anything more than the worthless used chukkas I fished in all spring and summer, sloshing my way around trout streams and pathways. I wear a size 14 and the Simms wading boots are absolutely perfect for me and my neoprene stockingfoot waders. These boots have everything I looked for, very high ankle support, high grip tread which came in use on the steep banks to the local rivers, easy up laces, and surprising dry time. Very high quality all around. If you're on the fence about these, don't be. Very happy and satisfied.

Have worked great and keep me warm even in really cold weather
I've been fishing my whole life & been an addicted fly-fisherman for almost 30 years. This year I've already spent over 90 days on the water! I abuse my gear, which is always in my car and have learned, that no one makes their gear to last like Simms does. I literally wore out the Vibram sole on my last pair of Simms wading boots after 2 seasons & just bought these & have already tested them out. A+. My waders, my wading boots, my vest & my wading staff are all Simms. There is no substitute, I'm thinking they should send me gear to test at this point, because I spend as much time on the water as only some guides do...
Haven’t had them in the water yet but, they’re well built and comfortable with my waders on. Sure they will provide years of use.Took away one star for delivery. Amazon stated Prime delivery when ordered and 2 in stock. 2 days later when expected delivery, they said the order was canceled. Checked their site and said still had one in stock at higher price and no Prime delivery. Amazon was good enough to honor the sale price but the item showed up 18 days later. Seems to be a trend with Amazon the last several months.
Fit perfectly! Easy to lace up. Very comfortable to walk in. I purchased the studs and installed them . Highly recommend! I have a set of Simms G4's and I seriously like these better!
